Fishing at white clay creek state

I recently started fishing and planning to checkout white clay creek state next week. I couldn’t find much info in the state park site about the ponds in the park.I am aware of the trout regulations, stamps and designated fly fishing areas. I want to know if I can fish at the creek at any place. On Google Maps I see small water bodies but not sure if I can fish there. If anyone has any info on regulations or where I can fish please let me know. I am mostly targeting bass. Thanks.

Lost fishing rod in the Brandywine river

I know it’s a long shot but still giving it a try..Went fishing near the zoo today morning and casted so hard that half of the rod flew into the river and got snagged. If anyone here ever find a half black and red ugly stick near the river..Please DM me.

I am sticking to the ponds from now..

Lost ugly stick to the river

I was all excited to fish the local river today. Woke up at 5, prepped few jig heads, and soft baits. Went to the river, second cast, hooked a snake head but couldn’t land it. I blame my cheapass jig. For the third cast, I threw it so hard that it went flying into the river and got snagged.

Anyways I am looking for suggestions for my next rod which I can buy for sale around Memorial Day.

Edit: An older gentleman from a weekend market hooked me up with optix and Shakespeare rod and a reel. He also threw in few crank baits and poppers. All for $50. Probably I’ll stick to ponds this year and get a nicer rod next season. Heading to bass pro to get new lines. Thanks everyone..

Live worms are the GOAT

Just started fishing at local pond. First day got skunked. Second day, tried multiple soft baits but didn’t catch anything. After talking to another angler who is catching fish every 15 minutes, went to the local hardware store and got live worms. Second cast with a live worm caught one..

Thanks to the community. I learnt a lot from you folks.

My Coton de Tulear is almost 2 years old and has been dealing with scooting since he was a puppy. I'm on the East Coast(PA, DE) if that matters for any vet recommendations.

From the very beginning, Leo struggled with loose stools for months. We cycled through several foods before our vet finally put him on a prescription diet, which thankfully cleared things up. After about 6 months on that, I transitioned him to PPP Sensitive Skin & Stomach with Salmon — bad idea. He couldn't tolerate it at all. Acid reflux, vomiting every few days. Switched him over to Hill's Science Diet Perfect Digestion Salmon on the vet's advice, and he's been on that since December. Poops are solid, no digestive drama.

But the scooting never stopped.

Our old vet always chalked it up to full anal glands. We were getting them expressed every two weeks just to stay ahead of it — and he'd still scoot two days after an expression sometimes. Eventually the vet basically threw their hands up and said expressing is all they can do. That's when I decided to find someone new.

The new vet I switched to in February took his history seriously, checked his anal glands and suggested trying a hydrolyzed protein diet to rule out a food sensitivity driving the inflammation. He's been on Purina Pro Plan Hydrolyzed for 3 weeks now — no treats, no toppers, just the kibble and the occasional celery or cucumber as a snack.

Even with the hydrolyzed diet, He is scooting every day. Currently his butt is so red and on top of it he developed a hot spot after coming from the groomer.

His last fecal test was in Feb 2026 which is negative for all the parasites. He is very active, likes long walks, chases squirrels, plays with the toys himself.

Health Record: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Qq84SJV_R9keGd__3e-eij1xy2JR0Inc/view?usp=sharing

The above link has his history until Dec 2025. He had two visits this year. One for booster shots and another one with new vet who prescribed the hydrolyzed diet.

I am looking for professional opinions on what I need to do next? I feel really bad for our little guy. He is bundle of joy to us but seeing him struggling almost every day makes me depressed.
