I live in the press and am debating between parking on their lot next to girard & tatnall st and parking in the midtown parking garage. My car was already broken into once in the press parking lot. any advice/insights?
Good news for people in trolley/delaware avenue area and downtown/riverfront residents. The infrequent route 10 thru Delaware avenue is being replaced by the 33 to improve OTP. If you live in downtown, trolley, del ave, or the riverfront, you now have a much more convenient and frequent bus to the mall,Christiana hospital, trolley square, and UD. Good decision by dart imo.
In spite of all that is lacking, Delaware does get it right from time to time. If you haven't received yours yet, ivote .de .gov. If anyone needs assistance or a ride to the polls, I am at your service. This is a service for republicans in Wilmington because gas ain't cheap! That was a joke. Everyone needs to fulfill their civic duty.

I was looking into the LOMA area of Wilmington and I was wondering if I had chosen a safe area or not. I’ve been through the area but not at night yet due to distance and daytime obligations.
At the corner of 8th and Van Buren, I spotted a loose dog. Large light brown boxer mix. When I tried to call her over she jogged down Van Buren towards Cool Spring Park. I couldn't get a picture in time which I know isn't helpful but I wanted to post this for tracking purposes in case someone is looking for her.

I called the city to schedule a trash pick up for an old mattress since we recently got a new one. They told me to put the mattress out where we usually put our trash out after 6pm yesterday (Friday), but as of 1:30pm today, the mattress is still on the curb. Does anyone know when it will actually get picked up? I hate contributing to trash in the city and want to be sure I’m doing the right thing
