flashfloods are a natural disaster I'm the most horrified of the thought of how fast and unpredictable they are scares me and I'm horrified want to know if anyone else got the warning and how they feel about this?

Hi guys! Does anyone know if the History Museum still has JB candles? I read that they did a while back and am visiting this summer, just wanted to see if they were still available.
These started about 8:30. Saw the first lightning bolt around 8:40. And caught a subsequent one in a video… stay safe out there y’all.

Xfinity down since 8am for me today, saying restoration at 6pm now. But there’s another thread on here yesterday for a different outage that was restored. And Xfinity’s outage map says “Network Damage”. Makes me think there’s possible sabotage going on? Given the 8am timing on the 4th (unlikely to be construction) and the multiple different outages.
Anybody have a better idea what is going on?
EDIT: new ETA is 4:05am tomorrow, 07/05. Almost a 24hr outage!

I live downtown and my apartment's been without Internet since yesterday afternoon. According to Comcast's maps more than 2000 customers are without internet and Comcast is still trying to figure out what's going on. Does anyone have any idea what's happening?
UPDATE: Pup and owner were reunited. This poor guy was a fireworks spook victim and was very happy to see his people again. Also would like to thank the person who contacted me with the owners number and the awesome good citizen who first tried to capture this pup on the road and stopped him from being hit by an oncoming truck (wish I'd gotten their name, guy's a hero fr).
Anyone recognize this pup? Appears well groomed and cared for, found wandering near Kirkwood Hwy & Greenbank Rd. Being cared for and calm now indoors, but was struggling in the heat for idk how long.
