Daylight Minutes Lost in September

This makes some people happy and others sad. Personally I’m happy to see the darker days after the long stretch of summer sunlight that lasts so long into the evening.

Sunsets before 8:00PM

My current sunset for today is 7:52 and I’m loving it. Have you hit the “before 8:00” yet where you’re at?

Jeans for older women

Need advice on jeans for women over 60. I’m 5’2 weight 107 pounds, and want the newer style flare jeans. In my youth we called them bell bottoms. Being short I don’t want super wide bottoms. Any advice for the older woman? What brand(s), style look good on us but not ridiculous? 👖

Daylight minutes lost in August

As someone who loathes daylight saving time this makes me very happy. 😊

Air Quality

For anyone with asthma or respiratory issues it’s going to be a rough few days. Might want to plan for your morning walk/jog early.

Quince

I keep seeing ads for Quince. I have looked at their website and it seems like decent quality. I’d like opinions from anyone who’s bought from them. Specifically quality and sizing. It’s so frustrating to order online when you don’t know if a size 4 fits like a 0-2 or 6-8. Any input appreciated.

Brandywine Farmers Market

I really like the move of the market to the paved area. No more muddy grass to contend with. Seems like a win win for everyone. Busy this morning! I walked over shortly after 9:00 and it was already busy. Buy local, support your small business neighbors and farmers.

Hours before the Thursday event, which the city sponsored at The Queen music hall, the mayor’s special assistant sent an email to performers announcing restrictions on what they could discuss.
