I am struggling to find a dress for an upcoming family wedding! The past few times when I've worn a dress and thought it looked okay, later in pictures I realized it actually made me look shorter/wider. I'm not sure if camera angles from taller people are contributing or if I'm just going for the wrong cuts/styles. I'm 4'10 and roughly a size 6. Can I get some feedback on the options I'm considering?

Would also welcome feedback on appropriateness if you feel inclined. My spouse is in the party but I am not, I think it might be outdoors but unsure, it will be in the evening and likely hot/humid. There has been no guidance on dress code other than avoiding green so I'm flying a little blind and trying to go for versatility. I think it is unlikely to be black tie, but don't know if majority of guests will lean toward formal or casual. The couple/party will be dressed formally, trying to walk the line of not looking too casual in family pictures but not looking too formal among other guests if the majority are leaning casual.

1. Intended to be midi dress, but works as a maxi for me. I don't think tailoring would be needed even though it isn't a petite-specific cut. Does the high cowl neck make it look like I just don't have a neck? Should I consider tailoring to intended regular-person length? Vince Camuto @ Macy's
2. Probably meant to be knee-length, but closer to midi for me. I did see online there is a longer version of it but that one would definitely need to be tailored. I liked this one, but wondering if the hem length is too weird. Rachel Roy @ Macy's
3. I think I've talked myself out of this one looking at it again, even getting it hemmed I think the ruching at the waist will make my legs look too short. Also I was on the fence on if this felt appropriate for the event anyways. Alex & Sophia @ Macy's
4. This has been one of the front-runners but I don't know how I feel about the cleavage for this event. I'm not sure I've ever had a dress with this kind of cut before, fabric change directly below bust. Not petite and would definitely need hemming. B&A @ Macy's
5. Essentially the same as the last one, but shorter version. Notably though it was the same size, this one ran smaller and I'd have to size up if I went with it. General opinion has been that this one is less flattering compared the to long version . It's not a petite cut so it's supposed to hit above the knee rather than under. 6. This does come in petite, but they only had regular in store. Would getting the petite version make that big of a difference on this one? I don't think the side detailing is doing me any favors. Betsy & Adam @ Macy's
7. Not petite and would need to be hemmed, but also not sure if the opening of the legs sitting so much lower make it less flattering for shorter legs. Also not sure if that would be fixed with hemming. Chelsea28 @ Nordstrom
8. This is one of my top choices since it feels extremely versatile considering I don't totally know the vibe. I'm not sure if it comes through as well in pictures, but in person it's very much gold florals on navy. Not petite sizing and would need hemming for sure, but was marked down significantly and has pockets! Does the wide band on the waist make me look wider considering I won't have as much vertical room underneath though? Also, would I need the top straps taken in a bit more too? 9. I think this is the best fitting one without need for hemming. Ironically found in the petite section, though not actual petite sizing and pretty sure it's supposed to sit closer to knee length. Also has pockets! Similar concerns for the wide horizontal print making me look short/wide. While not the exact same dress, I did notice that the same brand has another dress that is almost identical to this one in solid black or navy, so if the print is a problem but cut isn't then I could get it in a solid color. I'm looking for recommendations for a fitted trench coat similar to the one pictured. I'm 5'0" and 144 lbs, and I'd prefer a coat that falls at or just above my knees. However, I'd rather avoid petite sizing because the shorter torso proportions don't always work well for me, especially since I have shorter legs not a short torso.
The coat is from a brand called Caldwell & Reef, which I'm not familiar with. I'm also a little hesitant because the listing doesn't include the fabric composition, which seems odd for a coat like this. I'd love recommendations for similar styles from reputable brands, ideally with quality fabrics and a flattering, tailored fit!

I’ve bought a backless dress for a wedding at the end of the month however I’ve been on a weight loss journey and unfortunately my lower belly pooch hasn’t shifted as much as I would’ve liked!
The dress is figure hugging and all I can look at is my lower belly when wearing it and unfortunately I haven’t got big breasts so I’m just looking a bit shapeless in it but I loveeeee the dress!

Any recommendations on shapewear that’s also good for backless dresses. The high waist ones won’t work as it would show from the back and preferably a thong so the outline doesn’t show around my bum

I’m starting a new job Tuesday and I am new to dressing business casual. Can’t really add accessories due to the nature of my job. Does this work? Is this too casual? Last photo is my inspo.

Where can I find pants like this in a mid rise (10” or less)? These types of pants are always in a high rise which comes up sooo high on my short torso.

Edit: thanks for all the comments! I think I’ll stick with the top and a better strapless bra, then stay on the hunt for a skirt or flowy pants and maybe some sling back heels instead of these!
I also ordered the top in a burgundy so may do that with flowy white pants!
