U1 Top Cover fan noise and speed settings

Honestly, I was hoping for the top cover to be more silent. On 60% the fan noise is quite a lot and a very annoying pitch. I thought about maybe trying to replace the fans with some Noctua fans if they are a standard size?

Also the manual fan speed setting on the printer is annoying. I have paused a print overnight, set the fan speed to 10% to reduce the noise, 2 minutes later it just automatically ramps up to 60% again.

What are your experiences? All in all I was hoping for a better noise dampening from the top cover.

Mismatched nozzles in the U1

Can I for example use 3 .2 and 1 .4 nozzle in the U1? I don't plan on using the different sizes in one print but rather have the bigger nozzle for single color prototyping and the 3 others for proper model printing.

Pour le Merite - Any chance this is real?

I was offered this PLM to purchase. The price itself seems alright for what it is. Seller claims it is an orignal piece awarded to Cordt von Brandis. Is anybody able to confirm the authenticity of this piece? Hallmarks are Wagner if i am correct and all the stamps seem to look alright so me.

Any help appreciated!
