We have X-Pan at home - Nikon F5 & Nikon AF-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D fisheye (with distortion corrected and uncorrected)

I experimented shooting with an ultrawide angle lens on film a few weeks back and just round to scanning some frames. Turns out, you can get decent 'panoramic' images by corrected distortion on Lightroom if you're willing to sacrifice the angles of your pictures.

This was my first time shooting with the Nikon 16mm 2.8 so there's a lot to learn (notably stopping down the aperture to have sharper edges!), but overall I'm happy with the results !

These were shot on Kodak Vision3 250D and home-scanned with NLP.
