Scotiabank internship interview

The interviewer leaned backwards after pulling his chair right before the call ends and makes that 'YIKES!' type of face. I thought I did okay though lol but got my hopes crushed 💔💔. Regardless the whole interview process was genuinely VERY easy. I did my first round like 2 weeks ago, and final round interview the week after and the hiring recruiter was soooo nice. Very minimal technical questions didn't have to code anything really just asked me how do u do xyz using whatever tool etc. Just wanted to let fellow students know my experience so far.

please someone answer something

last two posts got ignored not too sure why. I'll keep this one short. Got an email saying to answer some pre-screening questions as I've been selected to interview (June 18), and it had an error since the link to book an interview was nonexistent. After series of emails June 26 the recruiter tells me wait they will schedule it for u. I already did mine with Scotiabank btw and finished my final round last Friday (first round for that was on June 25).

It's July 6 today and still nothing. I'm assuming cuz of Canada Day and American Independence Day stuff is going on? Or do internship interviews usually take this long to even schedule? Please anything would be appreciated but someone plz comment and say something. Thank u!!!

Lol im an undergrad student looking to break into quant research. Idk why I even applied here tbh but I was desperate ig. I've heard bad things about this dude, and his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@MehulMehta-Quant).

How fake is this letter? I'm pretty naive but even I could tell this was some bullshit. I applied here thru a linkedin advertisement saying it'll teach genuinely good topics and give experience and it begins July 20. I filled out a google form and voila we are here 2 weeks later. I gave NO interview nothing, my resume is mid asf and mainly signals data science student with some emphasis on financial data like I built a credit risk modelling project as my best and most relevant thing. Long story short how scammy is this ?

I got this email last Thursday and I replied the same day back to the email that asked me to reply all even tho there was no 'reply all' option at all it was just reply cuz nobody was cc'ed. I've gotten no response whatsoever and it's Wednesday now. Is this normal?

fall 2026 co-op interview

so I got an interview that asked me a bunch of questions and it's legit cuz it's from a recruiter whose linkedin I found but I'm worried something bad happened. I sent an email back the same day I got the interview offer (Last Thursday approx. at 3:30 I got the email and I sent my answer back 5:30 pm same day) and I answered these questions shown below. I misinterpreted the 4th one (work experience requirement question) and sent another email back 2 days later when I realized I wrote my answer wrong and still nothing. I believe weekends don't count so I think it's been really 3 business days so far since I received it? Do u think they might've just taken the interview back or something. I've not received anything. A similar thing happened to me back in April but it was with a nobody company. They took it back a week before I was supposed to give it. Also, the 'reply all' thing is super odd cuz there was no option for that. It was just reply. The reply all thing is an option if u cc someone but here its addressed to just me, no cc nothing...Idk what s up. Lemme know if im just overthinking it plz and thank u

season 3 unfiltered no glazing review (SPOILERS!)

Lemme just say before the yap session that compared to season 2 this season is mid. Season 2 Mehmed personally for me is the best season of any THTV I've seen so far and this season failed to capture the quality that season 2 had

THE GOOD

- AMAZING WORLD BUILDING: Uzun Hasan being name dropped, Hungarian king sort of being like a final boss and behind a lot of stuff for Wallachian and bosnia. It got so great we even saw a diff pope, and the kings of France and England which was INSANE to me. Shoutout my boys king Edward and king Louis without u lot fighting each other mehmed woulda struggled with his gains 🙏🙏🙏

- EMOTIONAL WEIGHT: In terms of death of characters was really really done well. Sehabettin Pasha, Bahadir Hamza Pasha, Evronosoglu Ali Bey, Zaganos, all of them were done really well. Also I won't forget Zeynel Agha nor the legendary Huseyin Agha who I really wanted to be the replacement to kurtcu. I was sad when all of em died 😞

- QUALITY OF CAMPAIGNS: This was really REALLY damn good. From crossing the great mountains of trabzon and detailing it so well with great crowds and not just with 30 guys, even without CGI or VFX in scenes where it's just large crowds it is super good. Bosnia war was probably the best THTV war I've seen so far because of how detailed it was and how it depicted flanks and feigned retreats along with power of artillery as well as the ottomans army compositions I love that so much. Wallachia campaign was also very good for the most part like the danube crossing, the episode before where vlad is raiding Bulgaria and mehmed has to worry about evronosoglu Ali bey, so much good stuff there. The constant attacks and ambushes were good but the night attack was NOT good at all.

- NEW CHARACTERS: Hungarian King Matyas was way too good of a casting. Too good this dude Recep Usta who portrays him is just so damn perfect and good as a King! A young ambitious king is what we needed his character to be and it was shown like that. Gedik Ahmet Pasha's casting was also really really good and worth it, Ismail Demirci ;previously played Mustafa Kemankes Pasha in kosem century for those who have seen it and looks so nice in that white attire and that turban fits him so well too. Sharp looks and good castings here.

THE BAD

- USE OF AI: People might get mad here but I don't care this was so annoying this entire season. Mainly it became noticeable and heavily relied upon in charging towards castles in the attacks starting in ep 60. Thought it would improve after but it didn't. They didn't use much of it in the bosnia war and really filmed the danube crossing really well so credits for that. But in trabzon siege like running towards the castle, during that ambush, so many other places man it was BAD BAD. This issue is the only thing that hinders their quality of campaigns personally but its so annoying and ruins everything bruh

- HISTORICAL INACCURACY AND BAD STORYLINES: Vlad was prolonged too much, and was just not as good as it should've been. For some unknown reason stefan was killed in a few ep in the goofiest way possible and bosnia was conquered BEFORE Walachia bruh. The whole Vlad, Katerina and Gabor love triangle was really cringe too. It wasn't emphasized and mainly one-sided cuz she was faking it with Gabor but it was just slop writing and stupid. Stefan shouldn't have died and faced Mehmed as he did in history. He was brave but ofc he's shown as some merciless guy cuz he killed sehabettin. Vlad was also shown too strong like he's got so much influence over bosnia is really ridiculous he's basically a fugitive and Wallachian at this point in time was not entirely in his control either. His death was also very bad and cringe. Superhero mehmed the conqueror from the lands of marvel kills the bad villain vlad Dracula in a 1v1 duel so cool wow! Cringe, slop writing and shows the writers or the producer were clearly not planning on bringing him back later on in the show doesn't matter when. A time skip was needed that's all and u didn't need to skip 14 years. Could've randomly brought him next season IF they make it till 1476. If they didn't then just ignore it perhaps or maybe news of his death comes from Mihailoglu Ali Bey? Oh yeah he should've been there at Wallachian campaign too and turahanoglu omer at bosnia but both are missing.

the kid is murad II btw

Murad II was born in 1404, the kid looks not older than 8 or 9 here. Mehmed I was during this time fighting to reunite the empire and he is not name dropped so I acc understand the confusion. But basically the Lala said 'your grandfathers murad and yildirim bayezid', the kid says 'then timurlenk (Timur) came and destroyed the state' and the lala tells him that another resurrection will happen (drillis) which is sort of giving a quick gesture of respect to the second founder of the Ottoman Empire Sultan Celebi Mehmed who is the dad of that little guy. Just wanted to share this in case anyone is confused. And in a way since it is the end of a journey from ertugrul to osman to orhan they wanted to let the audience know that the 'First Ottoman Empire' (dubbed by historians not me) collapsed at Ankara in 1402 and lasted just about 100 years and the 'Second Ottoman Empire' began soon after it which lasted about 500 years.

season 4 plans?

what u guys thinking? Don't just say uzun hasan or skanderbeg there's lots more tbh and uzun Hasan is actually way to early idk why they r even emphasizing him so much at this point, personally I think we should've seen what Matthias does which is take jajace from mehmed and mehmed fails to take it back.
