What are essential standards in professional editing set-ups?

Promise this is not me trying to do low-effort, I need a bit of research and google is doing no good :/

Looking to see what actually is a top of the line product. What would be the best of the best when it comes to monitors, keyboard, mouse, controls, speakers, etc? What would make someone’s set-up go from middle of the line to high-end?

Are there essential staples of the industry? Or small off-shoot companies that only editors really know about.

I’d appreciate any answers to any of these questions. Seriously!

Thank you!

HELP: Hole in back tooth? Feeling like giving up on my teeth.

Hi there, thanks for looking at my teeth. Pics: 1-2 Bottom Jaw, Pic 3: Top of mouth

24, Female

I recently went to the dentist for a cleaning and had pain in my back molar area and my tooth had a black dot, I was told it was an air bubble in what is a super large filling I received (he suggested it should’ve been a root canal from my previous dentist). Now, I still have pain and it’s two teeth forward it feels. Any chance it could be all the teeth? Does it look like an air bubble? I’ve never heard of that.

In terms of giving up, I feel like me teeth are so far gone and would cost so much to fix that what is the point if I keep getting cavities non-stop. I feel like my mouth is unfixable. I had a mother who never took me to a dentist as a kid. I didn’t know you were supposed to go ever six months as nobody taught me. I feel like since then it’s been catch up that hasn’t stopped. Is my mouth savable? Or will it be a forever battle? I feel hopeless that I will ever be able to have a “normal” mouth. It’s bad right? I need to be scared.

Also, any chance anyone knows what are all the crazy bumps on my teeth on top? It feels like all my teeth have plateaus on them or canyons. Is that normal?

Anybody know why this is for the 1 train? Has it opened back up?
