DAE save their contact lenses that have "seen" interesting moments

I have a journal where I stick my used contacts that have been with me during important moments of my life. I have a pair from a green day concert, my wedding, the birth of my sons...etc. I have never told anyone in real life that I do this.

For context, I had 2 boys under 2.

My older son, now 2, would NOT sleep anywhere except on my chest for the first three months of his life, then only if he was touching me and could feel my breathing until he turned 1, then my husband started cosleeping with him for the second half of the night, because I was recovering from my c-section and cosleeping with my second baby.

with my second I mostly decided to cosleep from the start because it worked so well with my first, everyone got more sleep! and it all worked great, until he turned 6 months and he just would not go to sleep!!! I gave him boob, I rocked him, I patted him but he just would not settle until I laid him in his crib (his older brother's abandoned crib, literally never slept in for more than 20 minutes lol) just to tie my hair up, he turned over and went to sleep. seriously.

Since then (he's now 9 months) I lay him in his crib after his last feed, and he'll just...sleep. It's so weird, some nights he'll wake up for a feed some nights he doesn't. My older son sleeps in his toddler bed alone now...

It's nice to be able to sleep with my husband again, I really miss having a baby next to me though. It really does go by so fast!!!
