MasterTouch 22" or 26"?
Getting my first proper Weber Kettle and while I love the extra space of the 26" I'm concerned about the accessories available. Essentially aside from grilling I will:
- griddle
- rotisserie
- [make] pizza
- [make] paella
- smoke /w Spider Grills Venom
I've been deciding between a Weber MasterTouch Kettle and a MasterBuilt Gravity smoker; I'd love them both, but I just don't have the space. Since the Spider Grills Venom reviews are so good I think I've settled on the Weber.
I've seen many recommendations for buying the 26" new and the 22" used cheap, but I just don't have the space - I can only get one which is why I'm so happy to learn about the SGV.
Everyone says there are few accessories for the 26, but I don't need everything - just what I mentioned above. That being said ,the Kettle Pizza fits with adapters I think; there's one rotisserie manufacturer that makes one that fits (but they aren't anymore?), I guess I can use any griddle that'll fit. Lol - I'm figuring this out myself apparently .
I am concerned about needing significantly more charcoal because most of the time I will be feeding 3 people; occasionally 12+.
Weber Gurus - thoughts?
