Been pretty happy with my ride except for the display— no native GPS (rip Entune) and no CD player. For reasons I’m not going to get into I’m getting rid of my smart phone. I need a display that has a cd player and a native gps app. Does that exist? I’ve searched through about 85,000 posts and searches with no luck.

Edit: to be clear, I would like to know what to replace the display stereo with. I do not want a new car.

Just looking for comfort, I suppose.

Bloodborne was my favorite game for years. Anyone who is familiar with fromsoft games knows how vague they are with their storylines, and until my most recent playthrough I hadn’t dove deep into it. And I’m devastated.

There is an exorbitant amount of violence against women— from mothers having their children ripped violently from them, to them being murdered brutally. There are vastly more male characters in the game, but when they do introduce female characters they are often timid and powerless. Two of the women the story focuses on are a nun and a prostitute. Instead of creating what could have been a really interesting relationship between the two, the writers made the nun be jealous of the prostitute BECAUSE THE PROSTITUTE CAN BECOME PREGNANT.

There is one female character who is a villain, a powerful person who was reduced to being used as a vessel for birth and dies from it. The only female character given dignity and power is a side character that is not essential to the story. I don’t know how I didn’t notice the way a female doll-like character was introduced in a place called the workshop: this man says that the player “can use anything you can find— even the doll, should it please you.”

I couldn’t play any more last night and I feel a bit goofy for being so sad and angry about what was supposed to be my favorite game. I would’ve been a lifelong fan of it but they couldn’t write a good female lead to save their lives.
