Nanny Share with Excitable Dog

We are considering doing a nanny share with a neighbor (babies would be 5 and 6 months old), but our dog can be a lot. He’s very sweet but gets extremely excited when new people are in the house. I’m nervous he’d never get used to a nanny particularly if they are only here every other week. It feels like potentially too much to ask a nanny to handle - two infants and a dog demanding attention. Can anyone provide insight to nanny preferences here and if the family dogs ever become an issue / make a share not a good fit? THANK YOU!

My mom is pressuring me to leave my 6 week old for the weekend

Hi! FTM here expecting baby girl to arrive in the next few weeks. My husband is a groomsmen in an out of town wedding when baby will most likely be around 6 weeks old. I’ve asked my mom if she would be willing to come stay with me for the weekend since it would be my first time having the baby solo. She keeps pressuring me to just leave the baby alone with her for the weekend so I can take a break since “the baby won’t remember I’m gone”. She’s brought it up multiple times, and it’s starting to drive me crazy. Am I just sensitive with pregnancy hormones or is it normal to not want to leave my newborn for a full weekend that soon?
