My Vanda auto-water station

It’s a large high output ultrasonic humidifier but I found a good second use for it. Hang a vanda in the mist for 10-15 minutes per side 😁

Aliceara NoID

Similar to Snowblind ‘Sweet Spot’ but with skinnier and very curly petals and sepals. Was a grocery store orchid with no tag a few ears back.

Perrieraara rapeepath

The name is an unfamiliar mouthful but it’s a stunning Bangkok Sunset hybrid. Sadly it did not inherit the scent. But it’s a beautiful shock of color.

Rlc Amazing Thailand color progresion

Was supposed to be a ‘Rainbow’ clone 🫤, etsy strike out. Still pretty and smells wonderfully fruity. Took 3 years to get to blooming size. 1 7/18, 2 7/20, 3 7/23, 4 7/30.

Six years later it finally blooms

Vanda Pakchong Blue ‘Orchid Mania’. Color is true, unlike my other Pakchong Blue which is crazy electric purple and difficult to photograph. I have a thing for the coeruleas 🫤

Masdevallia tourmaline

One lone flower. Gorgeous velvety red that’s hard to photograph in true color.

Green and glossy

My only green slipper. Paph Cocoa Oliver x Cocoa Green. Neat multifloral bulldog which will hopefully continue to bloom for several months 😃 It’s very glossy but only shows up properly in photos using flash.

Cleisocentron gokusingii

Not mine. Someone brought it to our local society meeting last night. OBSESSED! 🤩 I must find one now! Yes it really is real actual blue.

Bulbophyllum claptonense update

Mostly full bloom. It seems to be making more buds. No scent for a couple of weeks and now has a strong apricot shampoo smell.

Bulbophyllum claptonense

I 💕 how their little lips bobble head around in the breeze. Took a couple of years to bloom but it was worth the wait. 4 in bloom and 8 more buds getting ready to pop.
