looking for things to let my vining plants vine- my skeleton is my favorite so far. please share your non-common plant props for inspo. bonus points if it’s halloween-y👀
Came across this on Castor Fleuriste’s account. Most of his work is brighter but every once in awhile he does darker arrangements.
This is the first fully black flower I've ever seen!
My first post in goth plants i hope I’ve done this right and I hope my picture fits the Reddit :) 🖤
Always in awe of this dark beauty every time I go past the care home I love how rich her leaves are !!! 🖤
A few pics of my Hollyhock ‘Nigra’ grown from seed. These are last summer’s flowers and one of my favorite goth flowers. A Black Celebration if you will (iykyk) 🖤
Spotted this guy at the Amazon Spheres in downtown Seattle. Anyone know what plant this is? 😍
You guys…someone needs to take my wallet away from me. I have no clean dishes. No laundry for work tomorrow. But I have a truck full of new plants so it’s 🤙
- Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum var. dissectum “Crimson Queen”)
- Hardy Hibiscus (Hibiscus moscheutos “Midnight Marvel” & “Starry Starry Night”)
- Sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas “Black Heart” & “Sidekick Bronze”)
- New Guinea Impatiens (Imaptiens hawkeri “Fuchsia Cream”)
- Silver Rex Begonia (Begonia rex-cultorum)
The only ones that didn’t list a specific variety were the begonias, anyone have an idea? Bonus pics of my partner hard at work designing my huge garden bow that the trees are gone! The goth garden will be on the side nearest the driveway, berry patch on the opposite half, with a fountain in between. The orchard will be up front by the road, and the shade garden & greenhouse in the backyard. I don’t think I realized how big my yard was until we started physically mapping this out 😅
Coleus "Abbey road", acanthus forming a flower, jack-in-the-pulpit, burgundy hens and chicks, Angelica archangelica (at least 6 ft tall), sweet pea blossoms.
Got this plant some few weeks ago. Repotted it in this awesome skull pot. The spikes on the leaves are more prominent than when I first got it, and it’s starting to flower a lil.
This were gifted to me for my first mother's day. I have managed to not kill them for 6 days! They smell fantastic and are the deepest purple I've ever seen in nature.
My one plant that’s giving me troubles. Had it in a little enclosure before didn’t do much. Now that it’s warming back up and humidity is high I give it a better space.
