Hello! I just want to know your opinion about my issue. I am still struggling with having flaky dandruff. I went to a derma before and told me it’s a dermatitis but they’re not 100% sure cuz when I went there, I had no signs of dandruff (only small patches). But it keeps coming back and I’m suffering for years now. I was prescribed a Taro-clobetasol propionate like 2 months ago. I stopped using it after 2 weeks (I’m not consistent tho), and now, I have it again (photos were taken right before this post). They’re sometimes itchy. They’re not falling regularly, only when I tried to scratch it. I have tried Nizoral, Vichy, T/sal, and apple cider vinegar but nothing seems right.

I emailed them for another appointment hoping they could do a biopsy to confirm my problem.

Any suggestions are open as I’m very stressed about it.

Hello! I’ve been suffering from dandruff for years. I thought it’s because my scalp was dry and that’s it not until I had a proper haircut. I suspected it as ringworm (1st and 2nd pic) because of the forms. Then I took oral anti-fungal for 4 weeks cuz anti-fungal creams didn’t work well. Photos and medication were all from October 2025-March 2026.

The 3rd and 4th pic is very recent, I stopped taking medication. I’ve been only using some medicated shampoos, gentle shampoos, and some hydration serum.

I know I should go to dermatologist but my question is if this is really ring worm? Or sebderm? Psoriasis? Eczema? Now, I’m always combing my hair for extra exfoliation and I could still see some powdery flakes falling out.
