Found one of the more obscure titles in the wild - Terminal City

Found this in an old book shop. I've always been a big fan of sci-fi, cyberpunk, dystopian settings. So this was a breath of fresh air in the face of everyday Marvel and DC comics. Plus it's one of the big bois of Dark Horse so that's always welcome lol.

Can't wait to dive into this and see what's what. Has anyone any information about this book? Why isn't is more talked about?

Good morning agents!

I'm excited to share my shelfie for the first time. Yesterday I finally finished my mainline BPRD collection! I started reading Hellboy a year ago and what a journey it has been since then.

[US/TX] [H] Paypal [W] BPRD Plague of Frogs 4 Hardcover

Hey there friends!

I'm looking to buy the BPRD Plague of Frogs 4 Hardcover. I know it's weird to ask for the 4th one from a series. But I'm willing to make a deal if someone wants to part with theirs. That's the only one left to collect in my mainline BPRD series left to collect so I would appreciate the help.

Thanks and have a great day!

I know the Black Casebook is coming out, and that's why I was wondering if I could collect the whole Morrison run in Absolute form.

Can y'all help? is there a list of other reading I have to do and would that be collectible in Absolutes.

Thank you!

I think I've used all my luck for a year!

So I stumbled upon an old book store and saw this on sale for $30.

I thought, sweet! a great book for a great price. Came home and opened the book and saw this from Chris Burnham on the first page. Lady luck was definitely smiling on me today lol.

I just cannot escape!!

So I've been reading Warhammer religiously for the past year and a half. Yesterday, I thought why not do some non-Warhammer reading to cleanse the palate.

So I went to my library, picked out an old comic omnibus I bought in 2023 (when I didn't read any Warhammer) because I happened to read the first comic of that omnibus while on vacation to the UK.

I prop open the first page and damnit I cannot escape the warp...!!!! My boy Dan was already pulling my strings towards Black Library and Warhammer reading way before I even knew about it. Just goes to show the range our favourite boy has and the fact that his writing has always resonated with me.

Just a fun moment that I wanted to share. Happy Reading!!

Absolute Kingdom Come - What. A. Story.

Finished Kingdom Come last night. I grew up in a country with basically no comic shops, so almost everything I knew about Superman came from movies and cartoons. Never clicked for me.

Then I read Kingdom Come by Mark Waid (with Alex Ross's art) and got genuinely misty-eyed. Followed it up with Absolute Superman by Jason Aaron, and now he's one of my favorite heroes in the genre.

He's the pinnacle of justice and hope — strong enough to flatten almost any villain without breaking a sweat, but he chooses restraint and gentleness even when everything's stacked against him. That contrast is what got me. Brilliant story.

I would love to read more of such stories and would love suggestions. How did you find this story?
