Thanks to everyone here! My new site is live. :)

Thanks to everyone here! My new site is live. :)

Hey everyone- just updating those who asked me to update them on my new website Oroux Skin. (Pronounced "oh- roo") a coined phrase I came up with meaning "golden redhead". It is live and if you signed up or did the survey or sunscreen trial- (please make sure you filled out the survey for the SPF trial). The sale is on if you are interested. Not being spammy, just some of you asked me to give an update.

Thanks to all who did the survey! You all are amazing redheads!

P.S. there are Men's products and Haircare for sensitive skin too. AND we have a European warehouse now for the Óroux skin products so you won't need to pay VAT in most areas and post should be much less - we ship internationally on all the other things.

Picture of the newness.

Some exciting news and Updates on Sunscreen trial

Hey everyone. My labels finally arrived and I am shipping out to you that asked for it. Yay!

I also just had a TV special I recorded a year ago, which is like a TED talk, that finally released yesterday if you'd like to see it, let me know. I talk a little bit about being a redhead and how I just wished I could have blended in when I was a kid and had low self esteem for a long while. I can share the link to watch for free if you like, just ask in the comments. Don't want to be spammy here. It's really raw and real about my life, some heartaches and triumphs and business/entrepreneurship. I hope it inspires you if you see it. :) Thanks! Erin

Random Question...but do you love or hate sunscreens in aluminum tubes?

Trying to decide on packaging for my new sunscreen and just looking for your feedback on metal vs. plastic. I love the idea of aluminum tubes for sustainability, but not sure how people feel about using them. Just curious what your thoughts are. TYIA. :)

I'm currently using airless tubes, but I hate that they aren't as easy to recycle.

Sunscreen Sample volunteers needed. SPF 50 all natural and calming ingredients, no essential oils.

Hi! That's not me... haha. Picture for attention... This is Erin. Some of you kindly answered my survey and know I run a skincare brand. From the surveys you all definitely wanted minimum SPF 50- So I am launching an SPF 50 soon. As part of the testing protocol, If you would like to volunteer to sample the sunscreen and use it- for FREE, of course, every day for at least 4 weeks, then fill out a survey on Day and Day 28 about how it made your skin feel.

And, of course, If you are going to be out in the sun, please remember to reapply it at least every 2 hours. This is not because the sunscreen isn't effective, it's because your body sweats or if you are swimming, etc. it may rub off. Or maybe you didn't apply enough the first time and it will make sure you get even coverage.

Please message me below and you can email me at skinroux@gmail.com to let me know you want to participate. You'll need to fill out a survey at the beginning and end of the trial. That is it. Thank you in advance!

For those of you who already emailed me, I will email you soon about this. Still waiting for the labels to get printed.

Thanks! Kindly, Erin

Hello from Solvang, California.

Anyone from Denmark here? Supposedly all redheads come from the Vikings? If you haven't heard of Solvang, It's a cute little town North of where I live in California that looks like a little Dutch town because it was settled by a group of people from Denmark I believe in 1611 or something. It's a cute little place if you have the chance to visit.

Looking for US based redhead influencers (or pale, fair skin with other hair colors) influencers and UGC for upcoming campaign... any volunteers?

Hey everyone! Erin here. thank you to everyone who did my skincare survey! I truly appreciate it. I'm still working on the ideas and branding, but when we get closer to launch, I'm hoping to start using redheads you follow- and also some of you if you want to do a video talking about the products. You'd have to show your hands at least if you don't want to show your face.

If you want to email, you can go ahead and email me at skinroux@gmail.com .

Or just drop a comment with redheads you follow on social media across any platform so I can hit them up! I've followed a bunch, but haven't reached out to anyone directly yet.

Thank you in advance!

Working on getting the trademark, so the name might be Rouxe Skin (or Roux Skin depending). still working on all of that.. haha. I'll keep you posted when we launch to the people who asked. 😄

Also, if you are in the UK or another country, I will let you know when we are getting ready to launch there too if you're interested. Looking for any gender to help out.
