Yo, I go by the name Bendy and I just put out my first few tracks last night!! I am a singer/rapper who draws influences from all genres. I fully compose and produce my music and design my sounds, no loops or downloaded presets. I also fully master my music. I’ve been having issues with recording the time based effects while trying to get audio into Pro Tools. I have the KO II plugged into my computer through USB-C, into my interface instrument input through a line cable, and into the MIDI input on my interface. I have it clocked so that Pro Tools starts the KO II upon playback.
Just to clarify, I’m only having issues with the time based effects. These would be the +/- buttons and the FX+2 punch-in. When I try to record them, it sounds like it plays both a dry and wet signal with the slowed version and original going at the same time. Also, this only happens when I’m record enabled. If I’m not actively recording it plays how it’s supposed to.
Anyone know how to fix this? All the other punch-in effects sound normal when they’re being recorded. I have also tried running an instrument cable instead of a basic TRS line and plugging into through the main XLR input on my interface, but none of that worked.
