In my country,farmers market are usually cheap but they sort of sell in bulk. We also have these "traders" who buy from farmers and sell in carts and pass on the discount to us as the layers are less but they come only during season.

But In USA, the farmers market are both costly and doesnt have much difference in terms of taste or quality. Only good thing is the vibe of going there
