We should offer the MLE to Rui instead.

Rui on MLE would be amazing for this team. He's a consistent 50/40 player for three years now. And he always rises up in the playoffs, keeping the same efficiency while creating more scoring for the team. He's a legit C&S threat during the playoffs. And he doesn't turn the ball over. He never avaeraged more than 1 turnover in his whole stint with the Lakers. His defense is a bit suspect, but he gives good effort on that side of the ball, and doesn't foul a lot.

Blazers, Spurs, and the Cavs are also onto him, but the Blazers can also only offer MLE, and we can offer more than both the Spurs and the Cavs. I think it's fair to say that we should give it a shot. And with KP's contract being non-guaranteed next year, we can say that we can offer him more next year if he plays well.

The more I look at Burries game, the more I want to see him in Warriors uniform.

I'm a big Yaxel guy. I think he's still one of the best player we can acquire at 11 both talent-wise and fit-wise. He's also more realistic to get than Burries.

But Burries is slowly growing into me. Ever since Klay left, we've been looking for a perfect replacement for him that can provide both scoring and defense, and I think Burries is the closest that we can get to that.

He's obviously less of a shooter compared to Klay, but on the other hand, Burries is a better playmaker, ball handler, and better at going into the rim. He is a legit 3 Level Scorer (76th 3PM, 86th MidM, 71th RimM). He's also extremely efficient, and he doesn't need to have the ball in his hands, but when he does hold the ball, he's great at generating plays. And he does all that while also being impactful on the defensive side. He's 87th pecentile in steals and 93th in stops. Also noteworthy that him and Klay also have almost similar height (Klay is 6'6 and Burries is 6'5-6 in shoes, 6'4 barefoot)

I do hope the first 10 teams fumble on him (pls get Mara and Ament before him) because he'll be a great fit to our team. I'll be happy with either him or Yaxel.

Post and Bassey should be a no-brainer minimum contract options.

Nick Friedell believes there's only 15% that Post should will be re-signed next season, but I think him and Bassey should be a no-brainer for minimum. I get that they're low utility role players, but considering questions whether our main centers (Kristaps, Horford) will stay with this team, it's better to hold them off for backup.

Even if both stays with the team, Post and Bassey will still have value in the sense that they're good replacements for rest nights or one of KP and Horford gets injured. Looking at the market this offseason, there's also not much options for us at the center positon. Post and Bassey can offer more than most options at minimum.
