The latest version has an improved UI, new tactical cards, and a whole raft of performance and reliability improvements. Additionally, the training bot is way better than it was, so if there's nobody online to play against, you can do a quick game against the bot for practice.

But whether you're playing against the bot, a nearby friend, or someone across the world, there's no game like Bivouac.

You're going to love this game!

[DEV] I've made massive improvements to Bivouac and the new beta is out!

My real-world territory game, Bivouac, has taken a huge leap forward in playability.

The UI is better, the networking is more reliable, and the increased deck-building features make the game 10x more fun. Whenever I do a testing session with my friends, we end up running around for MILES and having a grand old time.

I've also added in optional notifications so you can know when a potential opponent is looking for a match, and the training bot in the "How to Play" section is WAY smarter. I only beat it about 40% of the time.

Anyway, I'd love it if you'd check it out. The current beta, almost ready for review, is available at:

Looking for a recommendation, like Playdead's "Inside"

I just played through "Inside" for the zillionth time, and I've resigned myself to the idea that their "next game" may never come.

Anyone have any recommendations for a game that has a similar "feel"? I love the side-scrolling puzzler genre like that game (and its predecessor, Limbo), but I'm open to other genres if they've got a similar level of immersive environment.
