I just got home from the local production of Mort which I saw posted here a month ago by u/Safe-Ad-5721 https://www.reddit.com/r/discworld/s/ukFXTJwchG.

We had a lovely time, it was clearly a tiny production, in a school theatre, but they all did very well and we had a very fun evening.

Their take on Death was really good, with a face painted like skeletor and neon lights in the hood giving the blue eyed look, very smart. Also he has a light up neon scythe which was cool.

The young actors did well with a few minor mishaps but nothing disastrous, clearly some of them were very nervous.

Props and costumes were good, sets and staging was minimal, and the lights and music were decent but a weak point I'd say.

They only had a small audience tonight but they go again tomorrow, hopefully they have a bigger audience, it deserves it!

So if you're in Poole, Dorset and have no plans, pop over to Canford Heath for a few hours of Pratchett! Definitely a fun time and I'd like to see them do more of them!
