I'm heading up Friday for a short backcountry trip starting at McGurk Meadow trailhead (a few miles up Glacier Point Road), curious if anyone knows how busy the parking area at the trailhead has been recently? AFAIK it's one of the less busy spots but with all the recent chaos I'm curious if anyone has been up there recently and how it's been. With the long drive plus probably long wait at the entrance gate I won't be getting there until early afternoon.

If it's expected to fill up by then I could potentially arrive a bit later and just try to get spots as dayhikers leave, I don't have to hike very far day 1 so a late start isn't a problem.

Appreciate any info if anyone has it!
