What are you using to localize your app in multiple languages?

Hello,

I've launched my app 1.5 months ago and I would like to improve my ASO game. I want to localize my app in multiple languages (French, Italian, German, Spanish etc).

Currently, the only localizations I have are English and Romanian ( my native language ). What are you using to translate your texts ?

Thank you so much !

My girlfriend and I travel a lot, so I built a Travel Map App for iOS

I’ve been an iOS developer for a while, but I had never launched an app on my own on the App Store. My girlfriend and I travel a lot, and I thought building a travel app would be a cool idea. I spent New Year’s Eve far away from home this year, and we have a tradition: every year, we write down our wishes in Notes and try to accomplish them by the end of the year. The rule is that we don’t show them to each other until the end of the year. I guess you already know what one of my wishes was 😃

The app is called There: Your Travel Map

The idea is pretty simple: you can track the countries, cities, and airports you’ve visited, see them on your personal map, save the timeline of your trips, check travel stats, unlock achievements, and compare your map with friends. I know is not the only one on the market, but I wanted to make my own version of it.

I’ve been actively improving it since launch and adding features based on feedback. The core country tracking is FREE, and I added PREMIUM features for people who want deeper tracking, like adding cities or airports.

The app is available on iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

Looking forward for your feedback.

You can find it on the App Store: App Store Link

Hey,

I’m 27 years old, and I’ve visited 28 countries so far. My goal is to visit 50 countries before I turn 30. Do you think that’s achievable?

I’d also be happy to hear how many countries you’ve visited.

A month ago, I launched my first iOS app on the App Store: There: Your Travel Map.

It’s a travel app where you can track the countries, cities, and airports you’ve visited, share your map on social media, and compare your progress with friends.

The core functionality is free, and about two weeks ago I introduced premium features for deeper tracking, like cities and airports.

After 1 month, here’s where it stands:

  • 1.4k downloads
  • $30 made so far
  • 4.93k App Store product page views
  • 19.7% conversion rate

In the last 3 days, 3 people bought the lifetime option, and honestly, making my first money from something I built myself felt amazing.

I know these numbers are still small, but for a first app, this already feels like a huge milestone.

Still a lot to improve, but I’m really happy I started.

App is called There: Your Travel Map if anyone wants to check it out.

A month ago I launched my first iOS app on the App Store: There: Your Travel Map.

It’s a travel app where users can track the countries, cities, and airports they’ve visited, share their map on social media, and compare their progress with friends.

Two weeks after launch, I introduced premium features. The core functionality is still free, like tracking visited countries, while features like adding cities and airports are part of the paid version.

In the last 3 days, 3 users purchased the lifetime plan, and making my first money from an app honestly feels amazing.

Here’s where things stand after 1 month:

  • 1.4k downloads
  • $30 revenue
  • 4.93k App Store product page views
  • 19.7% conversion rate

For a first app, I’m really happy with this start. The revenue is still small, but getting those first paying users made the whole thing feel real.

What surprised me most is that users were willing to pay for extra tracking depth, while the free core still gets plenty of use.

I’m still early and trying to learn fast, especially around growth, retention, and pricing.

Curious what you’d focus on next in my position.
