Namaste! To all the Brahmanas here.

Sometime ago, I saw a post here talking about Steppe DNA among different Brahmana groups across India.

But what do the Dharmashastras say? A Brahmana who doesn't have Yagyopaveetam and doesn't perform Sandhyavandanam is not a Brahmin at all.

Even if you have 100% Steppe DNA, you won't be considered a Brahmana.

Please follow the Shastras.

Re Starting Sandhyavandam

I used to consistently do Sandhyavandam, now it's been a long time since I have stopped doing it it happened gradually.

Now I don't know how to start again 😭.

Do all of you go through such phases ?

If yes then how do you come out of it ?

And how not to get in this loop?
