Did I got overboard pulling out the front & middle seats? The carpet and the sound padding insulation stuff was totally saturated, an inch of water sitting at the bottom. Got the carpet fan circulating since yesterday, planning on replacing the sound insulation stuff. I’m pretty sure the issue was the sun roof drain getting clogged- planning on fixing with this guys solution from YouTube. Helpful video, planning to add rubber tubing today.

Very heavy and solid wood, you will definitely need 2 or 3 people to move- I just had knee surgery so there will be no one here to help you move it down 1 flight of stairs & into your vehicle. No delivery available.

We have purchased this from a high end furniture store in STL 2 years ago for $1,500 plus delivery, but my wife wants something new and lighter colored. A few small water stains on one of the nightstands as seen in the photo.

Gonna be non weight bearing for 6 weeks, crutches for 10 weeks plus summer heat coming. Figured I’m not gonna wanna/be able to deal with pants/shorts + belt + sheath for a couple months.

ACL reconstruction + distal femoral osteotomy, the latter is why it’s such a long NWB, cuz I know someone’s gonna ask.

Wife has wanted white laminate counters for a long time. I ran the numbers and I think I can do it for $440 for these ikea counters.

Main potential issues I see-
1- the two 98” ones will meet in the middle of the sink (red line in photo)- does that location for a seam matter or NBD?

2- Needing to trim one or two sides of the “island” piece- adding the “edging strip never looks that great, so I’d like to avoid if possible.

3- the ~4” part that goes up the wall/backsplash- do I need to just order an extra 1 or 2 pieces of the 98” one to rip strips of? Or use a different material?

What am I not thinking about? Is this gonna be easyish? I think I’ve got all the tools and almost enough knowledge to go for it, but idk, never done countertops. And you can see in the last photo, current ones are barely secured in some areas.
