2022/2023 m50i or 2024 x40i
As the title suggested, I’m debating between 2022/2023 m50i vs 2024 x40i. I’m looking at 30K miles or less.
I would appreciate any help or insights

I got all 4 set of tires changed in 2025. I recently got a tear in my tire. I don’t think it’s caused by rims. Is this covered by warranty? It’s a model Y performance if that makes a difference.
I saw BMW was offering 4.99% Apr on certified used vehicles for 36 months. Wanted to see if anyone on here had details on interest rate for 60 months.
I’m shopping for 2024 x5 x40i. I definitely want both M Pro packages. However, there are very few vehicle with both DAPP and Climate comfort within $55K range and below 30K miles.
Background
I live in VA and tend to sweat more so was leaning towards climate comfort but after reading many threads, it seems like DAPP is more important.
Any insights or feedback is welcome.
Thank you in advance!
I was looking at this used x5. Came across this and seems like an amazing deal. I checked car fax and didn’t see any accidents.
Options
-Premium package
-Climate comfort
-M pro
-parking professional
Edit: it has roughly 28K miles.
I’m looking at used or CPO bmw x5 x40i. I’m looking at visor vin, Edmunds etc. I noticed that some of the dealership don’t have all of the car options listed. I.e. saw a car with m professionally package but wasn’t listed on listing.
Wanted to see the best way to find what options are in the car.
Thank you in advance!
I’m currently shopping around for used vehicles and seeing crazy interest rates. Wanted to see what interest rates folks are getting along with their credit score. Also would love any recommendations for lenders.
Thank you in advance!
My wife and I went to see x5 x40i in person and she loved it as well. We weren’t ready to buy while 0.9% Apr was ongoing. We are thinking of buying new if we can get up to 1.9% apr or used if it’s higher than that.
I have been lurking and seeing a lot of folks getting 10-13% off of msrp on new vehicles.
Few questions
-How realistic and hard is it to get this type of offer myself? I live in VA but willing to shop around in other states
-Do brokers negotiate and deal with used vehicle? If so, how much of a discount should I expect?
-What’s the typical cost of broker fee?
-Is there any broker y’all worked with and recommend?
I had X3 m40i and loved that vehicle. I sold it as I was moving and didn’t have a need for it. Now I need to add a vehicle and was looking at x3 again; however, my friend suggested x5 as it’s roomier for future kids and strollers.
So wanted y’alls opinion on which vehicle to choose.
Few things to note
- planning on keeping this vehicle for another 5–10 years
- planning on having kids in near future
