Site Suggestions: Eureka Springs AR

Good evening, campers

I'm taking a trip to Eureka Springs around the week of Oct 18th. I would like to go camping while I'm there! It'll just be me, and the most basic of gear (tent, sleeping pads/bag). I love evergreen trees, stargazing, and cool/pretty/big rock formations (especially if I can climb them). However, this will be my first time camping by myself, so I don't have the confidence to be miles and miles deep in the wilderness.

Any location suggestions on where I should go? Happy to drive up to around 2 hours north or east, and up to 4 hours west or south.

Also, I'll look through this subreddit for more advice, but any advice specific to my situation would be cool too! Tryna stay as cheap but also as safe as possible. I've been camping, but it was either in or not far from a cabin or camper.

Cozy Cafe Recs???

Howdy friends. I'm originally from College Station and over there we have this place called Sweet Eugene's that just had such a comfy atmosphere. Almost all the seating was couches, all the art was cubismesque, floors are all just wooden and creaky, bunch of lamps everywhere, and yea the place just had an overall warm ambience. Way better than the modern, corporate, metal chairs, metal tables vibe

I have a couple places on my list, like Opa, Simona's, Texas traders, and bennu, but all of those are north from where I live now, which is basically right by the slaughter and I-35 intersection. Simona's is probably the closest, but when I have errands to run that are all in southpark Meadows it's annoying to drive north just to drive back south lol. I just wanted to see if y'all had any other recs that would be under 15 minutes drive. I'm not much of a coffee guru, so they don't even necessarily have to have good coffee or food or whatever, just the vibe.

Austin, TX --> Eureka Springs, AK

Going out to Eureka Springs for a buddy's wedding. Trying to decide if I should do the whole trip in one day, or split it in two halves. If there's anything along the way worth spending a few hours on, I'd be down to split it in half.

Also, I'm going to have a whole week after the wedding (which is on a Sunday in Oct) to explore/camp in that general area (I'd be willing to go a couple more hours north if needed) or somewhere on the way back.

Recommendations/anti-recommendations for both these things would be great!

For context, I love bouldering, and love hiking specifically through woods and hills/mountains. I'm also a cheapskate, so don't really wanna spend more than $20 on any one experience, including food.

Couch and TV Stand - Need Gone 7/31

Couch: $50 OBO

Overall is in great condition. Cushions are good as new (I wash them regularly), the upholstery is still secure everywhere, the structure of the back, feet and legs are firm. Smoke-free home. No rips or tears. Main issue is the tops of the arms are pretty stained and a little worn down. The bed part is good as new, I have never, nor has anyone else, slept on this bed. Mattress is included.

Entertainment Center/TV Stand: $30 OBO

Glass shelves and two storage drawers. The glass shelves and top glass piece are all in excellent condition (no damage). Right drawer needs the slide reset because the screw holes became worn, but all hardware is included. Otherwise, it's sturdy and in good overall condition. Great for a large TV, gaming setup, media storage, or collectibles. 54%" x 154" x 24'

Nothing in the drawers is for sale unless you wanna give me a stupid amount of money for them :)

Taco Palenque Macros

Not to be a gym bro (I promise I'm not 🙏🏻) but anybody know what the macros are on Taco Palenque's bacon and egg breakfast burrito? Saw on the menu it's listed as 1500 calories (gyatt damn) but can't figure out protein content. I couldn't find any sources online (they have a nutrition PDF but since the burritos are new it hasn't been updated yet). I ashamedly turned to ChatGPT and gave it the weight in grams, ingredients, and calories, and it estimated 50-60, but that sounds low considering it's 1500 calories of almost all protein sources. I get refried beans are mostly fat but come on, y'know?

Idk maybe a nutritionist or Taco Palenque employee out there has a better and more human estimate.

If I should post elsewhere lmk that too :)

Build-Your-Own Stir Fry?

Howdy friends. I'm originally from College Station (escaped 5 years ago, still recovering 🙏🏻) and we had a Ghengis Grill there for a long time (before it closed from the owner embezzling funds tee hee). Say what you want about it, but I thought that place was phenomenal.

So, is there something like that here? Basically just looking for Subway but for Stir Fry (or something akin to stir fry). I want a big bowl of rice with a bunch of stuff mixed into it that I get to customize. Doesn't have to be authentic, just yummy.

Desc.: Used Sunny Health & Fitness exercise bike in good home-gym condition. Has adjustable seat, adjustable handlebars, resistance control, and a digital display. Purging: exercise bike and pillows

Weird combo, I know. But just some things I have taking up space that I'd like to stop having space taken up by.

The pillows are a little faded, hence the discount.

Bike, I'm ngl, needs some fixing up. The only way the seat stays put is by using a wrench (which I do not have lol), and the plastic on the pedals is all torn up. Also big discount on that, all things considered. So:

Exercise Bike: $50
