What is the deal with sushi roll club?

I’ve been attempting to try this place for weeks now every single time I go they’re closed. I tried to go when their soft opening hours said they were open and they’ve been closed. Has anyone managed to actually get in there and does anyone know when they’re planning a normal opening? seems like a strange strategy to build a customer base.

Recommendation: Kaamos - a streamlined but deep puzzle matching roguelite in portrait mode with great art and atmosphere and no Japanese

Weird, Aggressive Clown Lady?

Posting because this interaction was so bizarre and so out of the ordinary and just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience / context with this woman?

So had never seen this lady until about 2-3 months ago. She’s average height, maybe early 40s, and the best I can describe her is she seems to be some sort of clown performance artist? I’ve seen her walking around with like things like a tiny little clown umbrella, or like a drum, or some other silly prop, playing music on a little bluetooth speaker. I actually thought it was kinda whimsical until tonight.

I’m taking my dog out for a quick pee and as we’re walking down the street I see her walking towards me. She’s carrying two enormous fake sunflowers. As she approaches me and my dog she kind of shakes them at us and goes (I thought playfully) “boom boom.” I smiled, and then as she walks by she goes “I’m gonna kick that dog.”

Now my dog is small, wouldn’t hurt a fly, was nowhere near her at all. So I’m kinda taken aback, and I stop and watch her walk away trying to make sure I heard her correctly. Then she turns around and says “actually, the dog is ok, I meant ‘I’m gonna kick you.’”
I go: “excuse me?”
And she says: “yeah, cause you’re a piece of shit.”
Me: “what? Why? I don’t even know you.”
Her: “You are a piece. Of. Shit. Piece of shit.”

My flabbers are gasted at this point so I just shake my head and walk my dog away. But the whole thing was so odd, and the complete opposite of what I thought she would say, given the general clownishness. The contrast of saying that while holding two huge sunflowers was just absurd.

Anyway…

Anyone else get called names by the Crown Heights Clown?
