Rothman's

looks like Topps attention to detail is on full display in the 2026 Eccellenza set with the Rothman's Racing Team logo making its way onto this year's Supremo card. it stood out to me instantly due to the image selected. I like how they went through the process of removing the Rothman's text below the logo but somehow missed the logo itself. curious if they will face any kind of legal repercussions from this as it's clearly visible.

second picture is the Relic which uses the tobacco compliance logo for comparison. the Veterano card uses an image from the '96 season which scrubs the Rothman's logos completely. also included the picture used for the Supremo so you can see text I mentioned.

*lmao, I completely missed that they even scrubbed the same logo off of his left arm but left the chest one intact.

White Wedding - Day 57

close up of the main cola's from the 3 White Wedding I'm running (2 natty p1+2, 1 topped p3). I always find it interesting how differently plants of the same strain can handle the same feed sometimes.

pic 1 has basically taken every drink like a champ.

pic 2 has been constantly pulling different shit from her leaves but continues to run well.

and finally pic 3 seems to think I'm continuing to give her too much N even though it's trace amounts at this point in my feed.

a tent full of funky lemons though. 🤙

Hit the brakes kids

for clarity this post isn't for maniacs, fools, flippers, or sellers; it's for newcomers who likely don't know any better and may be looking at TA26 as a cheap entrypoint for potentially valuable speculative "investment" cards.

we don't even have the odds sheets for this release yet and we have people putting down the price of an entire box for a "Manufactured Relic Hamilton (MR-HAM)" an alleged SP Hamilton card*(1). just look at the difference in pricing between pre-release Silverstone sales(2) vs post release(3), these cards are being valued on hype and nothing more. spend your money how you please, but unless you're looking at the obvious SSP (stuff that's actually numbered ≤50, an auto, or KiMi) I wouldn't expect much from this release to actually hold any value once that odds sheet drops¹.

for everyone else, it's my opinion that long term this isn't good for the hobby, and the "Manufactured Relic" cards paint a clear picture of where Fanatics is heading with their newest cash cow. I can only hope it stays contained to the Turbo Attax product.

¹i have no doubts one of these SP will actually be rare but as it stands right now that's insider information.

*I was so hopped up on manufactured relic hate that I fucked up which card I was talking about.

eBay OBO "sales"

a lot of people here don't seem to understand how easy it is to manipulate eBay sales data when it comes to items listed as "for sale/ OBO" vs proper auction items (bids). just because an item has been listed by eBay as "sold", does not mean an actual sale has taken place.

all it takes is a simple burner account submitting a BO, the seller accepting, and boom, said item is now marked as "sold" at the price accepted by the seller. what happens next, the sale falling through on the back end, never gets corrected at the surface level so people searching are provided heavily skewed pricing.

this practice has been happening for YEARS now across all types of collectables, but is more easily caught with cards (where x/№ editioning is so popular).

this post isn't to say that there are no legitimate sales happening via this method, but more to make people aware of a practice used by some sellers to try and 'make the market'.

eg. this listing from thecardcollectiveco, '2025 Topps Chrome F1 Kimi Antonelli Gold-Ref /50 #CAC-ANT RC Auto PSA 10' is the exact same card being "sold" twice in a period of 5 days. both listings are for the same card №3 /50.

that 3rd card, '2025 TOPPS CHROME FORMULA 1 CHROME AUTOS #CAC-ANT KIMI ANTONELLI 42/75 PSA 10' was allegedly sold by PSA themselves, but if you check PSA's socials they make no mention of such a big hit (15K USD). compare that to any of the big sales made outside of eBay and imo it's really odd that they don't want to advertise the value of their product.
