Ideas for Post-War scenarios

Hello all. I have been developing a table-top campaign using Halo: Flashpoint as a base for stats. My players are currently ODSTs in the late years of the war, but will soon be a part of the the first class of Spartan-IVs. I have a main campaign set up, but would like some ideas for smaller missions and operations for them to handle as that story develops. I have them establishing contact with colonies, recovering ships of human and covennant origin, and eliminating rebel groups. Anything that y'all would think is fun and vital to a recovering UNSC?

The Battle of the Lakka-Stavros Gap

The LRI after a day of fierce fighting, had secured the Lakka Military base, and was set up for the final push on the Altis International Airport. Taking the airport would be the nail in the coffin for the AAF, and would securethe vast majority of the island for the LRI.

The AAF would not take this quietly, and the next morning, as clean up operations were taking place in southern Altis, the AAF would launch a major attack to retake the outpost on Hill 76. All AAF attacks had been successful so far, and they had little reason to belive this one would be any different.

The AAF were unaware of recent developments in the LRI armaments and defenses. Reinforced roadblocks had been deployed facing the Airport, and most importantly, an unlimited supply of Titan Compact launchers had been secured.

The first wave of the AAF attack, comprising 2 Leopard MBT's, and motorized infantry, would be deveasted by the opening Salvo. The recently captured military base would provide an excellent firing position for Anti-tank teams. The first wave was destroyed more than 400 meters from their objective.

The second wave would up the ante, with 2 more Leopards, Air Assault troops aboard two Merlin medium-lift helicopters, and CAS providing supression. The air assault would be shot down before a single solider made it to the ground, but provided enough chaos for the MBT's to close the distance and begin inflicting casualties. The AAF CAS would land a direct hit on the Outpost on Hill 76, devasting the defenders there, as well as a productive run over the military base before being destroyed. The second would be wiped out, but had pryed the door open for the final wave.

The final wave woud consist of the same equipemt and troops of the second wave, with the addition of aFV510 Warrior, providing overwhelming fire on defensive postions. a single merlin managed to touch down between Hill 76 and Stavros, splitting fire away from the front, as they engaged the decimated garrison at Hill 76 and the garrison at Stavros. With casualities beginning to climb, the defenders priortize eliminating the AAF CAS, to allow freedom of movement and get effective shots of the enemy armor. The FV510 would be eliminated outside of Lakka, and the first Leopard would be destroyed inside the town. The final Leopard would breakthrough these defenses, and make a desperate run at HIll 76, which now sat undefended besides a lone rebel commander. With only moments left before the outpost was lost, this rebel commander would take a final shot with his MAAWS, eliminating the Leopard only 5 yards away from the outpost flag, sealing a heroic victory for the LRI.

The enemy would suffer devasting losses during their failed assault. not included in the battle, but destroyed during the opening salvo, was a Pandur II, manning a roadblock outside the airport. Enemy losses would include:

- 4x Leopard II MBT

- 4x AW101 Merlin Heliopters

- 1x FV510 Warrior IFV

- 1x Pandur II APC

- 2x L139 Albatros configured for CAS

- Multiple infantry transports

- 80+x personnel

These losses would allow for the LRI to finish their mop ip operations in the south against little resistance, and the battle for the Airport will begin soon.

Faction starting gear

Looking to see if anyone has a list showing the starting gear for rebel factions. We are wrapping up our first campaign soon and I wanted to start getting ideas for our group. We had fun with the LRI but trying to mix it up. We will be using Vanilla or CUP factions.

Scrub Platoon [A3] [NA/CST] [Casual] [Recruiting] [New-player friendly]

Scrub Platoon is a small group of friends looking to expand as we get back into Arma. We are currently wrapping up an Antistasi run before we start another on Malden, and our own campaign covering the Altis civil war. This is a very casual group. Normal playtime is 10pm CST. No attendence requirements, just a heads up if you'll be attending or not. Message for questions or discord link.
