Less than 9 years ago, Tyler was playing here in Chicago in front of myself and 164 other people at Schubas Tavern. This is video of him and the boys blowing the roof off the joint that night.

Tonight they’ll play 5 minutes away from there in front of thousands at Wrigley Field.

This will be the 11th time I see him perform in person. I’ve chased him all over the country, from Lexington to Red Rocks to the middle of nowhere in Iowa. Can’t wait to see where else he takes us.

First rocket: We’re about to win!

Second rocket: Oh shit, they have our flag!

Third rocket: Lucky as hell shot into the tunnel to kill the enemy, letting teammates recover the flag.
