What’s your favorite Americana album of all time?

In my opinion, Bottles and Bibles is an absolute masterpiece of an album, and even better than Childer’s other masterpiece, Purgatory. With songs like If Whiskey Could Talk, Play Me a Hank Song, and the track’s title piece, I don’t think there’s a single skip.

I’m very passionate about this album, I’d love to hear your favorite albums, and maybe even learn a few new artists I haven’t heard before

Nashville and Tyler.

Hi. So this is a weird one. My daughter is currently in Nashville (from England) and is wondering why they hate Tyler Childers there.

Every bar they go into she asks for them to play Tyler. All say no. No jukebox have him on them.

Her boyfriend thought she was just being a conspiracy theorist until this morning in a diner a Tyler song came on and was immediately skipped to the next song. She asked the waitress why and the waitress ignored her.

What is the problem? Anyone?

They're going to karaoke tonight and she said she's singing Coal 🤣

I wish it would post higher quality. Anyways. My view from the pit, he looked right at the camera🥳

Are tapers a thing?

So my first Tyler Childers concert was last weekend at Hershey Park. I'm a deadhead from way back and am wondering if taping is a thing at his shows? Related question: is there any way I can get a recording of this show? Thanks.

Ten years of listening to him, fourth Tyler concert ever, second one this year, and first solo concert… AND we got Tattoos. I’m still in heaven. Right on the barricade, biggest fan girl moment ever!! Of course had to wear the yearbook photo shirt:)

Durham tickets just keep getting more expensive.

We want to go to his final show of the tour in Durham, NC and I’m willing to pay handsomely for tickets. But $350 a pop for bad seats just seems so ridiculous, even though I’d pretty much pay anything to see him live again (6th time). The show isn’t for almost another 2 months - what do fans here think will happen with ticket prices? Go up? Go down? Stay steady?

This live performance from Pickathon 2019 was the first Tyler Childers video I ever watched and five years later it's still the best live performance I've seen. Help me find the full concert.

Pickathon streamed the full concert and hosted it on their channel for a while before taking it down. A few people later posted YouTube videos of the performance (which is how I saw it), but those have also since been removed. Although a few songs from that concert still pop up occasionally, the entire show is so good that I hope to see it again one day. Any of you enterprising Childers fans have a copy of it? Here's one the the few songs from that show that remains on youtube currently:

Amazing Show

It is amazing to me how talented Tyler is. Line he sounds exactly like his recordings, while playing the guitar and after playing the night before. A little bit of EBT live in Hershey. What a great show, especially for my first Childers concert. Also, a little video of him walking back to main stage from center stage.

Full Red Barn Recording on Spotify

Not sure if people know about this but I’ve been listening to the full red barn recording non-stop for the last 6 months or so. It’s incredible, I highly recommend a listen.

For those that couldn’t make it last night, here is the Hershey’s specific shirt from the show.

Just so you know what they’re referring to. I got the last one at that stand, 2xl when I wear a Large, but that’s a moot point. Just love the Hershey themed Easter eggs through out like twizzler logs and Reese’s pieces pouring out like water.

First Show Last Night

Hershey was my first Tyler show. I only started listening to him about a year ago, and I’m typically a punk and jam band fan, so I wasn’t sure how my first country show would be.

I must say, every fan we interacted with was very cool. The band sounded awesome! The surprise (for me) second stage acoustic thing was a fun little bonus.

Thank you, fan base, for being so positive and welcoming! I’m sure you’ll see me again!

Astounded when he played Tattoos at Hershey!

I didn't realize he played it last night in NY (which is probably very good because I would have been so disappointed if he hadn't tonight), but wow. I was blown away. It's my all time favorite song and before last night he hadn't played it for years. I could have left right after that song and would have been completely satisfied. Can't wait to see TC live again.

Hershey! Four things…

First, that was a great show that just kept getting better and better as the night went on! 🎸

Second, sounds like the guys had some fun on some rides at Hershey Park today! 🎢

Third, I noticed Tyler changed the lyrics on Bitin’ List to “I’d wanna hug my babies” 👶👶

Fourth, I loved that they played a mashup of Pure Imagination and Candyman during the return to the main stage! So fitting 🍫
