Can no longer get any server on ExpressVPN to work with NWSL+. I wish the league was more interested in making it easier for fans to watch but that’s not where they are right now. With the team’s success in its fifth year and the vibes riding high, along with a remarkable surge in popularity of women’s sports across the board, I’m curious what fans are looking for in terms of coverage for the squad.
National coverage of the NWSL as a whole is definitely lacking but local media coverage also is not quite up to par from what I can gather. There are maybe one or two local reporters who post articles about the club’s games but the actual coverage of the team itself is pretty bare. It’s surprising to me since there was so much coverage of SDFC last season and into this year despite Wave FC still having a bigger social media following.
