I want to go to a solo trip somewhere in North. Need suggestions

Hey guys, I am a 24M and want to go to somewhere north, somewhere cooler on a solo trip. I would like to stay in good hostels, interact with people and have fun somewhere, where no one knows who I am.

I have been to most of the place in uttarakhand, as my college was there.

If anyone has been on a solo trip, or even in a tourist group with unknown people, please suggest some good groups as well

I need some safe to go suggestions!!

Looking for a job in commodity trade (Essential commodities like oil, oilseeds, pulses, etc)

Hi everyone, I recently left my good paying job, not because I wanted a better offer or I was bored of it, but because I coudn't see my future in it.

I am a recent IIT Roorkee graduate. While I was in college, I had done multiple internships in top startups of India. After college I got a good paying job remote job, but I left that recently.

I was looking over a domain lesser touched, more un organised and someone introduced me to commodity trade.

India is a big big importer/exporter of so many essential commodities like soybean, veg oil, rice, corn, wheat, millets, etc, etc. And for the last three months I have been researching about this by my own.

I have been travelling places, visitng mills and plants all by my own. But recently I understood that it's not gonna work like this. I have got to learn it properly.

Hence, I am looking for a job/internship somewhere where I can learn this and practice it. Someplace where I can stay, work hard and benefit (myself and the company).

If anyone would be interested in hiring a fresher who is ready to give his all, work for more hours than any of their employee, LET ME KNOW.

Happy to share my resume in DM

Which bank would be the best match for my use case?

Hey folks, I just turned 18 and want to open an account, here are my usecases

  1. Open a savings account giving good interest (I have heard idfc gives good interest and that too on monthly basis)
  2. I will be regularly using UPI for my daily expense, so there should be an ease of doing it as well
  3. The banking should be smooth, not getting too many calls for loans and insurance, etc

Anything else a 18yo can benefit from going forward

I am from Akola, there is no store near me. Should I buy Indie River?

Hey guys. I live in Akola Maharashtra. Only stores in Maharashtra are in Ahilyanagar, Kolhapur and Pune. Its a bit far from my home. Even if there was a store in nagpur I would have bought it.

Should I still go for it or should I wait?

Hey guys, I am thinking of buying a EV scooter and recently came across River Indie. I am already using an Ather.

A user paid for my product for the third time straight - Is my product so bad???

Hey folks,

So there is this user who has been constantly buying monthly subscription of cvcomp every month from 3 months now (I launched cvcomp 4 months back).

(cvcomp is a JD based resume optimisation tool and there is also a free resume builder within)

At first I was happy to get all these payments and getting user validation of them really liking the product. But something hit me today.....

If my product was good it should have solved their problem and get them through the resume round, but why are they still using the product?

It was then when I thought of actually going to the depth of it, I started checking the logs..

It then seemed to me that there are 7-8 different person's resume from one id. I think one person has bought the subscription and all of his/her friends have been using it.

P.S. I have given unlimited credits on the subscription plan (Also my plan is cheaper than all my competitors)

Now IDK if this is exploitation or just product excellency....

Anyways I never expected such good response when I first launched cvcomp. I am still happy, still working to make it a better product.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a resume builder for a while and finally put out a version that people can actually use:
https://www.cvcomp.com/builder

The main idea was pretty straightforward - most tools either focus too much on design or just give blank templates. I tried to make something that actually helps with what to write while still keeping it clean and ATS-friendly.

It’s completely free right now. No paywalls, no credits, nothing like that.

I’m not really looking to promote it here - just want honest feedback from people who’ve actually struggled with resumes before.

Would love to know:

  • what feels confusing or unnecessary
  • what’s missing
  • where it breaks or gets annoying

Feel free to be blunt. That’s more useful than polite feedback at this stage.
