Getting my head around Runna activities, audio queues & watches.

Relatively new to run training, starting with local park runs to build a modicum of fitness.

I'm struggling to get my head around device compatibility and where each component actually fits, I'm currently in the Samsing Galaxy eco system, watch / ear buds & phone - using Strava on its own this isn't a problem, everything just works together.

Moving into Runna for structured run training becomes more of a challenge, I'm looking for a method to get audio queues working while also keeping all the other stats i'd typically get from the watch. My understanding at the moment is:

  • Perform activity in Runna, get audio queues, lose out on all the stats from the watch.
  • Perform the activity in Strava, I keep the stats but lose the audio queues and pegging the activity to Runna I lose out on the AI review. Also the Strava view on the watch to see current pace etc, it's almost impossible for me (old eyes) so I'm not sure of my current pace - i can't actually recall if it only displays avg pace?

A possible solution is to pick up a new watch for training, like a Coros 4, from what I'm reading is it correct that you are not actually using the Runna app itself on the Coros? You are essentially exporting the training plan from Runna to Coros, completing the activity in Coros & then syncing the result back (with all stats)?

If that is the case does the Coros provide the audio queues if I'm not within the training pace windows etc? Also if audio queues are working, can i use Spotify at the same time (via phone) and the Coros queues talk over the top (similar to nav instructions when playing music in the car).
