Moving places, which energy company?
I’m currently with Aurora. I have already moved places. How do I change my address? Do I need to have someone come out? Electricity already works.

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s last year at the age of 27. I have had symptoms my whole life, but it never got picked up. I suffered for years, and I still am.
My first perianal abscess appeared last year, sepsis. High complex fistula, seton placed. The exisiting fistula branched so a fistulotomy was done. Another seton was placed. Since then, I have had over 7 surgeries on my asshole. I spent months bending over a mirror squeezing my abscess out because the CRS was out of ideas.
I spent 9 days in hospital back in February for a flare. Yuflyma failed. Rinvoq failed. I just got home from a 3 day admission for another flare, I’ve been put on the lovely Prednisone. I’m feeling it, I tell ya. Small bowel, large bowel, perianal..all of it is kicking me.
Now I’m onto my first round of Infliximab tomorrow. I am feeling awful, I have a slight cold, I’m hot from the steroids, I’m emotional, I’m tired, I am in pain, I am overwhelmed.
I know this may or may not work, but what if it doesn’t? What’s my next options?
No one seems to understand how devastating perianal Crohn’s disease is. The pain is ignored, the surgeries are “normal”, the poop leaking down my legs is “something I have to learn to live with”, my seton rash, my fissures, unable to walk, unable to close my legs, unable to wipe, unable to live a normal life. Small bowel Crohn’s is difficult too. Also, what’s up with sooooo many health professionals not knowing what this disease is? I had to explain to 4 nurses during my admission what a fistula & seton was.
My Crohn’s has significantly increased in the last 2 years.
I feel destroyed. :(
Our last bill for 30 days was $283. The next bill is estimated to be $400.
We moved from Queensland. We work in the healthcare & wildlife sector. Have been enjoying living here & getting away from the big city.
But damn. This is expensive. 😅
Hello lovely people.
I am diagnosed. I have Crohn’s disease in my perianal area, small bowel & starting to show signs of it in my large bowel.
I was on Yuflyma for a long time - did not work. I’ve had 7-10? Surgeries on my bottom due to fistulas and setons. I last saw my gastroenterologist in February during a hospital admission where I was admitted for 11 days, I received steroids for my flare up. I was prescribed rinvoq when I left and suffered terrible side effects so I stopped taking them without guidance.
I was scared and I was in pain, I was sick. I was tired. I stopped all medication & stopped seeing him. I am due to see him but I’m scared I’ll be in some sort of trouble. I’ve suffered a miscarriage since then, I had to go back to my home state for some time, I lost a job. It hasn’t been an easy few months.
I’ve had horrible flare ups of knee swelling and ankle swelling, unable to use my thumbs due to pain, bleeding, abscesses, it isn’t better.
Am I gonna be in trouble? Am I best to write an email explaining the situation and asking for an appointment?
Mum currently has an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The thing is absolutely terrible and she is due for an upgrade.
I want to surprise her with a second hand newer model iPhone. My budget is $1000 AUD. I’m browsing marketplace and refurbished phones.
I would love to buy her the iPhone 17 pro max but that just isn’t possible in my budget.
She definitely needs the larger phone.
Needs a good battery.
Decent photo quality.
Tough. Needs to be less easy to break.
I have the 17. Hubby has the 16 pro.
I’m thinking an iPhone 15 pro max, or the 16PM.
