i ordered a laptop from flipkart, but there has been no movement since the past 3 days after the package arrived motherhub_dic on 11th august. i ordered on 7th august and my original promised date was 13 august yet they have now delayed it to 16 august. i fear that there is a high chance my order gets delayed again and then consequently canceled. i urgently need the laptop and it would be impossible for me to buy a laptop at a reasonable price again of it cancels. what should i do?

would i be able to specify a delivery date and time to flipkart? im currently in college and was gonna order a laptop from the freedom sale, but im worried the flipkart guy might appear during my class hours and i miss the delivery. from the posts ive seen across r/ laptopdealsindia and the like, flipkart is notorious for canceling deliveries if you miss the delivery guy. and i dont think i can ask the guards to collect it since i also need to be present to check for dead pixel/ technical issues as the deliveries are open box (i think?)

im not too sure about this since i havent played much of the pc games, although since i would be doing that during college id want a good graphic card and cpu, by searching around i found that rtx 4050 is good for the price and supports pretty much everything so maybe somewhere around that

it should last me in class, around 4 hours is fine but more is appreciated
