If you guys are still taking the Tome enhancement, who are you putting it on?
With the Watchmaster change, I'm far less inclined to take him, and my Grav Cap already has Thief, so i can't find a good place to slot in Tome.
Is it worth it to take a second captain, or something off meta like the Phobos or Jump Captain?
I was looking at most of our best performing lists on listhammer and noticed that very few of them are running terminators.
I've had great success using them in my games but i am wondering if I am missing something for why they aren't getting used
Hey all, i will be competing in the June Open and will be running Deathwatch. Assuming we're still playing 10th edition I'm trying to decide what to run, as i haven't played a tourney for a couple months.
Currently I'm thinking:
Gravis cap
Watchmaster w/ Tome
Lt w/ combi
Phobos Lt (open to changing him)
2 x Decimus
Intercessors
2 x Fortis
2 x Incursor
2 x Indomitor
Terminators
Thunderstrike speeder.
I have had good success with this list in the past, but the previous iteration had 2x Combi Lts instead of a phobos Lt.
I have access to most good units, so what would you guys switch to stay competitive in our current meta?
As the title says, what edition of the game do you think will be played at the Warhammer Open next month?
