Heck’s food choices normal in American homes?

I remember in some episodes Mike and Axl would speak about having Chips for lunch! Is that normal?

Another thing I noticed is - Frankie would come from work and say “I made dinner”, when technically, she just bought take outs? So how is it that SHE made dinner?

For context - I’m from India and we definitely don’t eat Chips for lunch or any other meal. It’s just a snack.

Ghosted in spite of having a good conversation.

I see this as a pattern. Everything goes well in the first few days (2-3 days max) of the conversation. We speak for hours and hours on call or text, and then out of nowhere, I’m ghosted.

And these are guys who tell me that they are a good communicator, they’ll not ghost and that they’re looking for a serious relationship. I’m trying to understand why is this a pattern? Am I not supposed to have these long conversations in the first few days of “getting to know” phase?

I’ve come here because this happened with one of the guys I really didn’t expect. He made me feel so good for the few days that we chatted and spoke. I’m hurt and disappointed.

Has anyone been on the receiving end or probably been the one who has ghosted someone else in spite of a lovely chat?

Need help with budgeting as I feel financially stuck.

I wanted some perspective on my finances because I keep feeling like I’m doing something wrong.

I earn around ₹90k/month post taxes.

Current monthly breakup:
- ~₹29.5k towards loans
- Home loan: ₹21L @ 7.45% (190 months remaining)
- Personal loan: ₹5L @ 10.99% (6 years)
- ~₹28k into liquid investments/savings
- ₹3.5k LIC
- ₹2k set aside monthly for medical insurance (for me)
- ₹11k set aside for my new phone EMI for 6 months.

The remaining amount goes towards groceries, utilities, transport, pet expenses, and general living costs.

I also have around ₹2.5-3L in emergency funds spread across different bank accounts.

Context:
- I live independently with my pet, and don’t really have a financial backup support system
- I eventually want to move cities, but I constantly feel like I don’t have enough flexibility to do it safely

My main confusion is:
- Is my debt burden too high for my income?
- Should I reduce investments temporarily to build a “move city” fund?
- Am I spending too much on me and my general expense?

Would really appreciate practical opinions. I’m 32F.
