kWh consumption battery capacity indication?

Hi.

I have a 2020 Model X Long Range which I charged to 100% today. After a drive, the car said in the display that it had used 69,2 kWh and 93% of the battery. This would mean that to use 100% of the battery, I would have used about 74 kWh.
Is this in any way an indication of remaining max.
capacity in the battery, as I guess the car was supposed to have about 95 kWh of available capacity, at least when it was new…
But I am not sure if the kWh consumption that the car displays can be used like that?

Travel to Koh Lipe with small kids?

Hi.

We are a family of two adults and three kids who will be aged 8 years, 5 years and 6 months when we travel to Thailand for four weeks during February 2027.
We are flying to and from Phuket and would love to stay at some of the beautiful islands around and south of Puket.
We are thinking of Ko Yao Yai, Koh Lanta and would really love to go to Koh Lipe as well.
However, the trip from either Phuket or Koh Lanta looks a bit long and rough no matter what you do, especially with a 6 months old child…
Has anyone made the trip to Koh Lipe with very small children? We are a bit on the fence about the long speedboat ride…
Is it even worth it compared to other islands in the area which are easier to get to..?

Any input, suggestions or experiences of traveling in this part of Thailand with young kids and babys are very appreciated.

Where to go for a month with three kids?

We’re a family with three kids, who will be 8 years, 5 years and 6 months old when we would like to go for a longer holiday somewhere, for around 4-6 weeks is the plan.
We want to go in February or March next year and would love some input from someone who might have tried something similar with fairly young children.
We are from the north of Europe and our kids love to swing, so we would like to go somewhere where it’s warm with lovely beaches, safe to stay, good food etc.
Last time we travelled, we went to Sicily with the kids and had a blast enjoying the great waters around the island and the fantastic local food. I would highly recommend that, both with our without children.
Our immediate thoughts this time would be something like Thailand or the Philippines.
It would be nice if it’s somewhere that is not too crazy difficult to reach and it could be fun to stay in multiple places since we have a bit of time.
We’re not thinking it has to be a particular cheap holiday, but we’re not planning on the fanciest over-water villas in Bora Bora or something like that either.

Any input, ideas or experiences are very welcome! :-)

Better sound deadening

Hi.

I just purchased a high mileage 2020 Model X Long Range to use as a family car, but the largest issue I’ve always had with the Model X, is the poor sound insulation and way too much road noise entering the cabin.
Has anyone tried to remedy this themselves with sound deadening materials or similar?
It just seems like it should be possible to at least improve somewhat…
The car is already on new tires with foam inserts, so I am thinking more if people have good experience with adding more insulation material to certain areas or similar experiences.
