First Time Watch…. Joe Guidice ?????

Fell in love with RHONJ from s1e1… I have so many thoughts to share, now on season 8… so many recaps, questions to ask, lore to uncover. But

the biggest thought I have on my mind from RHONJ is….

I think Joe Guidice is so insanely Peter Griffiny. I know this is such an odd thought but he is so ridiculously lousy in his behaviour and words, everytime he’s on the screen I think i’m watching a parody show. Anyways just wanted to share my thoughts.

I really love vanilla bean candle 3wick, wait out a sale or no?

Is anyone more knowledgeable about this please? I love the vanilla bean candle but don’t want to spend $30. it’s not included in the selected sale 3wick candles currently.

Is there a possibility of it going on sale anytime before august or it’s really random /up to chance?

Canadian ChemE Student Here - What’s the Fastest Realistic Path to Working in the U.S.?

Hey everyone,

I’m a Canadian chemical engineering student entering my final year, and I’m seriously considering moving to the U.S. after graduation.

To be honest, I don’t see myself building a long-term career in Canada. Between the cost of living, taxes, and generally wanting a change of environment, I’m very open to relocating and don’t have any major commitments keeping me here.

For those who have made the move (or know people who have), what is the most realistic path?

  1. Should I focus on getting a job offer from a U.S. company before graduating?

  2. Are there specific companies or industries that are known for hiring Canadian chemical engineering graduates?

  3. Is it easier to work in Canada for a few years first and then transfer internally to the U.S.?

  4. How difficult is the visa process for Canadian engineers?

My main goal is to move to the U.S. as early as possible after graduation, so I’d appreciate any advice on the best strategy, industries, companies, or experiences that would improve my chances.

Thanks!

Michelle needs better taste in Men, and friends

Jesse… Aaron, DR DRE.,. Dr Dre might just be the worst of them all. Incredibly abusive man. And watching her friends act like she caught a big fish. Janet being the deep dive queen should’ve been flagging this more than anyone but she’s on WWHL cheering her on… weird. Aaron was a red flag, Jesse was an even more neon red flag but Dr Dre honestly takes the cake. I hope she is able to leave that situation quick and before any damage may be done.

Lala handled the Danny situation much more delicately than Janet.

To preface, I don’t think there’s a perfect way to handle these kind of situations. There would always be some adverse effects… it’s very delicate dealing with your friend’s toxic relationship.

However, Lala conveyed her message to both Danny and Nia very appropriately. I don’t even think Lala and Nia are close friends but the way Lala was able to keep and stand in her message to both was amazing. A lot of times when you call out toxic or abusive behaviour of someone to their partner, it can and mostly is misconstrued as an attack to both, by the victim, especially if they view their partnership as a single unit. I don’t know the psychology behind it but I can personally speak from experience as I lost a lot of great friends based on how I felt the manner at which they handled my then partner, even though they were 100% right in their point.

It’s important to emphasize to the other person that their partner’s behaviour is not okay, objectively, and you truly are speaking from a place of care for them regardless of your feelings for their partner.

Last season, I feel the way Janet approached the situation allowed space for her message to be mistook. Janet was upset at both Nia and Danny and used the situation constantly as an attack during arguments. A situation that delicate should’ve truly been handled many ways including off camera, especially as a real life friend.

It seems like Nia and Danny’s situation is even more delicate than this sub anticipated and I thank God it’s playing out on Camera so the world can take notes and when Nia needs it one day, inevitably, it’ll be here as proof so he can’t gaslight the situation. Just as I assume it helped Brittany with Jax. Unlimited proof. Anyways, these are just my thoughts.
