Fuel system service at 4k miles?

I'm looking at purchasing a used 2025 JGC limited that has 5k miles. Everything on it looks great, priced right, no red flags. Currently at a Carmax.

I ran the VIN through CarFax and it shows one owner, who had it serviced at a Jeep dealer in June this year. At the time it had about 4k miles on it.

The service record shows an oil and filter change, PLUS a fuel system service, fuel injection service, and throttle body cleaning. Probably $500 worth of work right there.

Is this a normal thing for Jeep? In all of my years of owning and maintaining vehicles I've NEVER heard of this service being completed on a 1 year old vehicle with less than 5k miles.

Should I be concerned, or is this just a classic example of a CDJR dealer fleecing its customer? I've never owned a Jeep before so I'm a little in the dark on these vehicles.

Anyone had a multiple level MD? Should I wait it out?

Ok results below. Basically been in 8/10 pain the last three months. Moderate numbness in left leg. Been dealing with issues for at least 5 years on and off.

Last year the L3/4 was at 8mm, now it's shrunk in half. Based on this diagnosis I don't think the same will happen at L4/L5. But the surgeon only wants to do that level, not the one above it as well.

Should I get a second opinion, or just wait it out? I'm on a pretty crummy regimen of pain pills and NSAIDs. I also don't want to get two surgeries if I can knock everything out with one.

Interval development of the protruded extruded disc at L4 level causing mild spinal canal narrowing and severe left lateral recess narrowing causing impingement of traversing left-sided nerve roots.

Degenerative changes of the L3-4 with the asymmetric left disc bulge contributes to moderate to severe left neural foraminal narrowing at this level.

Degenerative changes to lesser degree in the rest of levels of the lumbar spine described in details level by level in the above findings.

TECHNIQUE: MRI lumbar spine without intravenous contrast per standard protocol on 3 Tesla magnet.

FINDINGS:

The lumbar alignment is intact. Degenerative Modic type I endplate signal changes are seen at L4-5 and to lesser degree L3-4 and L5-S1 level. The vertebral body heights and marrow signal are otherwise within normal limits. The visualized distal spinal cord and conus medullaris are within normal limits.

L1-L2: Small asymmetric disc bulge measures up to 2 mm in AP diameter in the left side but no spinal canal stenosis or neuroforaminal narrowing.Minimal facet disease.

L2-L3: Minimal disc bulge and mild bilateral facet arthrosis. No significant spinal stenosis or neural foraminal narrowing.

L3-L4: Asymmetric disc bulge measures up to 4 mm beyond the left foraminal zone. Mild bilateral facet disease. No definite spinal canal stenosis or right neural foraminal narrowing. Moderate to severe left neural foraminal narrowing noted again.

L4-L5: There is asymmetric disc bulge with a protruded extruded component more notable in the left side measuring 9 mm in the AP diameter and 12 mm in the craniocaudal dimension which is causing severe left lateral recess narrowing and mild spinal canal stenosis with AP diameter of the canal measures 7.5 mm. There is impingement of traversing left L5 and S1 nerve roots by protruded extruded disc. Mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing suspected.

L5-S1: Asymmetric disc bulge measures 4.5 mm in AP diameter. Mild bilateral facet disease. No spinal canal stenosis. Mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing. Mild bilateral facet disease.

Visiting Kaanapali in July for 7 days. Will have two kids, 9 and 7, plus me and my wife.

She's dead set on going to a luau. I couldn't care less. I've been to Maui a few times, this is her first. My kids are picky eaters, and I don't know if they'd really sit still and focus for 2+ hours at the show.

Plus the cost...$600-$800 is what I'm seeing everywhere. I have the money to spend but I just can't justify it... my wife thinks it's a once in a lifetime experience... am I missing something here or AITA for not wanting to go?
