BYD Ti7 vs Leopard 7
Hey everyone,
I have narrowed down my next car to either the official UAE BYD Ti 7 or importing the Chinese Leopard 7.
I am leaning towards the Leopard 7 for a couple of reasons.
First, I like the Leopard logo much more than the standard BYD one.
Second, it arguably offers better tech than the local BYD version.
However, I want to make sure I am not overlooking the practical benefits of buying the local UAE version. If you have experience with either, I would appreciate your thoughts:
Software: Is the Chinese infotainment on the Leopard 7 hard to use daily? Can you easily set up CarPlay and English navigation?
Climate Control: Does the imported version handle the Dubai heat well, or does the local Ti 7 have upgraded cooling?
Maintenance and Insurance: Are there any issues getting the imported Leopard 7 insured or serviced locally?
