Investments weren't set for growth, now what?

I've realized that my investments were not set for growth for a decade. When I first started investing, I was just playing around, researching it a bit, but had it in my mind I needed dividend stocks. Why, I have no clue lol. ADHDer here. Didn't even look at my portfolio for years. Now I'm finally getting serious about this because at 47 I don't want to stress about money or my future.

Basically, I've been Barista Fire since Covid but didn't know there was a name for it. I've been working part-time and have a bit of passive income, so I haven't touched my investments...but I haven't contributed anything to them as well. And since I didn't have them on a growth plan, now I'm getting worried about not having enough when shit hits the fan.

I’m still youngish and working part time, so do I switch things up to be more growth since I won’t need to touch my investments for probably another 5+ years? What would you do?

Not sure what else to do

I’m 6 mpo and I’m fluffy and bloated like I was before my surgery to remove 12cm fibroid. After surgery I had a beautiful flat stomach and was feeling quite good about myself. Then months later the flab started building.

I was doing walks a couple times a day within 2 weeks po and started lifting again at 8 weeks. I’m doing everything right, eat well, exercise, lift 4x per week, hormone therapy but I’m so puffy and jiggly. My fave pants from winter are tight.

I don’t know what else I can do lifestyle-wise. I’m 47 so is this just how my body wants to be now? I’ve been fit most my life so it’s very hard to feel like this.

Feeling happy with new organisation

Patting myself on the back for buying this organisation shelf thingy on Friday and actually setting it up today. I technically didn't need it because right by the door is a big closet with shelving. But there's something about buying this thing and setting it up that gave me so much dopamine. Those are baskets for my socks and gym towels, because I'm always forgetting those and have to run back upstairs to get them. So now they are right by the door! (I'm trying to sell my bike, so once it's out of here, I will put this against the wall)

I chore stacked this by cleaning out under the sink bathroom shelf of doom, wiping it down and organising it. Then found more stuff to sell on Vinted because I need money lol. Feeling productive and hope you get some stuff done today too!! <3

Need a new hobby

I’m only working part time and have no travel coming up. I don’t have easy access to my main hyper fixation at the moment (partner dancing) so I need a new hobby. Something fun that also isn’t expensive. I’m wasting my life away reading and playing boardgames online. I already volunteer so don’t want to do that more. I already exercise daily. I want something for me! Hit me with your ideas 💡 TIA

First vacation post - so freeing!

I gotta say how amazing it was to go on a 2 week vacation and not have to bring pads/tampoons, not have to only pack black underwear and not stress I would bleed through onto white hotel sheets. I totally regret not doing it sooner; I could have done it two years prior and lived without this constant stress. I can't get those two years back, but I'm happy to move forward with my life without my uterus trying to wreck me.
