getting paid less than a trainee?
when i got hired as a trainee, i was paid 15/hr baseline. i was okay with it since i figured, “hey, im not certified, i have no healthcare experience, whatever.” after working 2and a halfish years, now im at around $18. i just took my ptcb and passed, my manager is telling me he’ll “try his best to push for a raise to $20”.
i learnt that another tech at my store got hired and STARTED at $20/hr (is a new hire, started after me). no prior healthcare or pharm experience, no certification. i feel lowkey robbed. is this something i can ask reimbursement for ? why tf am i getting a “raise” but im gonna be getting the SAME STARTING pay as another tech (thats a trainee!)?
