Hair salon reccommendations needed!

Hair salon reccommendations needed!

I tried to get this hair color done a few years ago… and was given neon red. I refused to get my hair done at salons for years afterwards, and opted for at-home cuts and colors. I buzzed my hair off and it’s regrown to just below my shoulders now, it’s all virgin hair, I’m a little scared to let somebody touch it again—but this is my dream hair color. If you have any suggestions, especially for hair stylists who are a bit more alternative AND will provide good results, please lmk !!!

Some questions but not much concern. Waiting it out.

My period is 9 days late. My cycle tends to last 34 days so I’m counting from that point, it is currently day 43. I believe I ovulated on Apr 26th (not using my period app’s calculation, going off of 8 years of menstrual experience lol. Not that that is accurate but I THINK I know when I ovulate since there’s really only one day of the cycle that I get all of the classic ovulation symptoms.)

My boyfriend and I had raw sex on Apr 26th and mid-way switched to condoms. Today, while doom-searching the internet for answers, I found that men who are closer to orgasm may release sperm in their pre-cum, only if they are in the later stages of arousal. And, that men who release sperm always do (in the later stages of arousal), and men who don’t never do, and there’s no simple way to figure out what kind of guy you are. Also, that 3 in 14 women had sperm present in their vagina after penetrative sex that didn’t conclude in ejaculation… and almost a quarter of couples who do the pull-out method get pregnant.

We’ve been together 2.5 years and have been beating the odds. I don’t think we’ve ever actually had raw sex while I ovulated. We were both aware that I was ovulating that day because I always bring it up. I told him we are not making this mistake again.

Nine days late is not crazy for me. Not having any PMS symptoms before a period is unusual, but not improbable.

Tomorrow is 21 days after sex. I’m going to take a test in the morning, but… Is there any reason why I may get a false negative after exactly 21 days from conception? My BMI is anywhere from 15.9-16.6. Ages 17-19 I repeatedly got results for low Vit D, D3, Ferratin, Calcium, and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. I smoke tobacco and marijuana multiple times a week. I don’t drink enough water lol. That’s all I can think of for what may fuck up a test.

I also want to add that the first day of my expected period… I got a giant clump of discharge instead. No discharge since. No cramps, achey nipples, mood swings, hot flashes, odd cravings, back pains, all of which I experience while pre-menstruating and menstruating.

Anyways, hopefully I keep testing negative. We cannot handle a baby right now and our dumbasses would want to keep it.

EDIT: Since I think I might’ve ovulated on Apr 26th, that means my period would be closer to 5 days late, not 9 !! Girl mathing my cycle is hard my bad

EDIT 2: Also want to add, the studies I’m referring to on the presence sperm in pre-cum were very, very small. It’s not useful as a definitive answer or statistic.

Not a meme

I already posted this to a book repair sub. I bought this for $17 and AS I opened it, the pages tore off. I almost never buy from chainstores (this was not B&N), instead I go to hole in the wall shops, comic book stores, thrifts & free libraries. I bought Gone Girl for $5 the same day and oh my god?? The difference in quality is night and day??

My book fell apart

Not sure what tag to add to this. I’ve never repaired a book.

Is there any way to fix this at home? If not, I’ll just go back and return it. I won’t have time to do so until Sun / Mon, and I work right next to an art store + have a ton of supplies stockpiled in my bedroom. Is there any salvaging this?

A little more context:

I just want to add, this book was $17 from a chain store (not B&N), and I haven’t bought a book from a bookstore in months, maybe longer. I usually stick to thrifts, hole in the wall shops, comic book shops (for graphic novels) and free libraries. My free and $5 books are holding up perfectly… the second I opened this $17 book though, it essentially just fell apart. I usually only buy books if the cards line up well. The author of this book promoted it in one of my favorite newspapers, I have a newspaper clipping of it up on my wall, so when I just happened to see it, I knew I needed it. I also got V for Vendetta, I watch the movie every year on Nov. 5th and have been searching for the book, AND I also got a very small pocket book on politics that I almost bought earlier, so when I saw it again, I caved.

Back to my $17 book… I DID persevere and finished a few chapters despite the torn off pages, and it’s a very good read. I don’t exactly want to go back and return it, but if I can’t find a solution by Sun / Mon, I will. (Briefly considered stapling it before realizing that that would making reading through it needlessly difficult and frusterating.)
