I finally got my fleet carrier and I want to get a brand new mining ship to mine tritium for when I'm out in the black, I heard the type 11 is the best nowdays
I'm also a returning player (not to mention never owned a fleet carrier) and forgot a lot of the basics so tips very are welcomed
Since obviously I have to pay upkeep on the thing and I don't want to go back in deep space right after buying one, I'll need to come home with some decent pocket change for upkeep, especially since I want to get a decently equipped one with plenty of useful systems
So how much longer should I keep going? 1 more billion, 2 more just to be sure? Do I say F it and just double the entire thing and go for 10 billion total? Although it's starting to feel a bit grindy so I hope not
I don't want to feel any kind of pressure of "oh shit I have to open elite up this week and grind for my upkeep", I just want to get it done right now, get enough for the fleet carrier and enough to just forget about upkeep for entire months even, how many credits would I need for that on say a decently equipped fleet carrier?
I started playing again after a year long hiatus and it seems like the game just completely broke in 2026, I get super long loading screens randomly when traveling to other star systems, when getting inside/outside the ship, I even got one just by stopping my super cruise, for 2 days now
And I get it, the occasional 20-30 second FSD star system jump can happen from time to time, or the occasional 15 second loading screen when disembarking, however it happens to me way too often now
This one in the clip was the worst one I got, where I black screened for entire minutes listening to the game's ambience just waiting for the loading screen to finally finish, the pause button was working so it wasn't a game freeze or anything the game just kept failing to load the next instance
And the worst part is, I'm on an exo biology trip where you keep switching instances from ship back to foot back to ship back to foot etc. to scan things, and when I randomly get hit with a 30s loading screen it just kills my entire mood since I'm trying to be pretty efficient and fast (as you can tell by my reckless flying) but then I get hit with one of those and all the time saved goes to waste
