first time building a budget pc, how's the pc part picker list looking?

not sure if that's the right tag or not, if it's incorrect just lmk. never tried before but i want to build my pc so consulting the internet and my friend whose built pcs for advice and review. i'm buying the gpu second hand since every other one at retail price is inching the budget line. id like to keep things under 800$ total (including tax and shipping) currently with everything in the pc part picker on the various websites carts, it totals about 732$

the reason the cooler, motherboard and ram is at 0$ is because it's part of a newegg combo/bundle which is what the 238$ price is. the most "graphically intense" games i'd be playing would be stuff like subnautica 2, red dead redemption 2, detroit become human, project zomboid, and minecraft with a lot of mods/shaders (not sure if that counts as intense but it lagged the hell out of my prebuilt pc)

anyway like i said i'm completely new to building pcs so i'm happy to get input from anyone more knowledgeable than myself, but keep in mind with your recommendations that i don't have an infinite amount of money to spend on this thing, truthfully i think i'm already pushing the budget considering my mom is paying for this and i don't want to burden her. and! i'm always open to upgrading stuff later once we're doing better financially

trying to build a budget pc, is this alright?

hiya, my pc died a few months ago due to water damage and rust so ive been thinking of building one, this is my first time even considering building one, i've only bought pre built ones off of amazon and such but figured a built one would serve me better.

itll mainly be for games (the most "graphically intense" i can think of are subnautica 2, red dead redemption 2, project zomboid and detroit become human (and minecraft with a TON of mods and shaders if that counts (i think it does, my old pc would lag so bad))

anyway, i used some parts someone else recommended me and ask my friend who's built pcs for some recommendations and ended up with this! for anyone knowledge, how does it look? will everything fit together physically? should anything be swapped out or removed?

like i said, this is my first time even thinking of building a pc and looking into the parts so it's a bit confusing for me and i could use all the help i can get. i'd like for the price to remain around 700-750 if anything does need to be swapped out

typical "looking for affordable pc" post but any help is appreciated!

i know these kinds of posts are probably posted fairly often, but i'd still like some advice

if this kind of post isn't allowed (like the pop-up is telling me despite seeing similar posts on here from months ago) just let me know and i'll remove it asap!

sorry for the wordiness, i'm a yapper at heart

a few months back i had to get rid of my pc (water damage to the motherboard itself due to water leaking into our rv a while back) it wasn't anything special, an stgauberon gaming pc i got off amazon for a-something-hundred dollars. it was, i wanna say around 200-500$ ? but served me well enough for the 2-3 years i had it. willing to go up to 600-700$ if chespers pc won't be able to run what i'd like at (at least) decent graphics!

but with its death, i'm looking for a new pc! something within that 200$-500$ would probably be best if y'all think it'd be able to run games like subnautica 2, red dead redemption 2, project zomboid (without lag, lag got me killed so many times) and detroit become human, i think those are the most "graphically intense" games i would be playing on it.

alternatively, i could try building a pc if it would be more affordable, but i've never done so and while i can manage a pre built pc well enough i'm not sure i'd have the know how to properly take care of a custom built pc nor be able to build it correctly

so yeah, anyone have any recommendations? itll still be months, maybe even a year until i'm able the pc no matter the price due to financial issues but i'd like to have some ideas in mind when it's time to finally choose what i'm getting
