Picked up my Cayenne Electric S

Picked up my Cayenne Electric S

After six years with a Model 3 Performance, I have finally moved on.

I initially looked at a regular Cayenne ICE, but after six years of electric driving, going back to a combustion engine just felt strange.

I went for the Electric S because the Turbo felt unnecessary, while the base version seemed a little underpowered compared with the Tesla.

A few days in, the biggest difference is the refinement. Interior quality, materials and sound insulation are on another level.

Its also much more relaxing to drive. I really like the higher seating position, there is an absurd amount of space, and the driving dynamics are impressive for something this big and heavy.

It does feel absolutely enormous though, so I am still being rather careful in car parks 😅

The tech has surprised me too btw. The app, connectivity and infotainment are pretty good (also have the passenger screen), and I do not feel like I have lost much compared with Tesla, except FSD which I rarely used. The head up display is fantastic as well.

Very happy with the switch so far 😎

New Tudor Monarch

Just bought the new Monarch at House of Gassan (Amsterdam). Same store where my bought my Speedmaster eleven years ago. In all those years I was never tempted to buy a second watch.

When I saw the Monarch I was for the first time hooked due to the amazing retro vibes and its unique design.

After trying it, I was directly convinced: great fit, size, and the dial is so much better in-person 🤩. Give it a try at your local AD if you are unsure.
